Heidi joined our team in October of 2021. She is new to the dental field and and enjoys working with patients and learning all she can about dentistry. She loves the experience of working at Owens Dental where she can see a variety of dental procedures and learn how a dental office works.

Lauryn joined our team in August of 2021. She graduated from Idaho State University with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She values connecting with her patients to ensure they get the best individualized care in an encouraging and positive way. She is passionate about educating patients to help them with all of their oral health needs and goals.

Lauryn grew up in Boise, Idaho and is enjoying exploring beautiful Colorado. In her free time, Lauryn enjoys hiking, painting, and trying new recipes. She loves spending quality time with family and friends.

Macey joined our team in March 2021 as a Dental Assistant and brings years of experience in the dental field. She enjoys all the wonderful patients she gets to meet and takes pride in providing them with the best care possible.

Maddie joined our team in January of 2020. She has been working in the dental field since 2016 and graduated from dental hygiene school in 2019. Maddie is passionate about dental hygiene, providing a comfortable cleaning experience and educating patients on proper home care methods. She enjoys getting to know our patients and providing them with the highest care possible.

Maddie is originally from Mead, Colorado where she lives with her family. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family and in her free time you can often find her reading a book, baking or making a crochet present for friends and family.

Iuliia joined our team as a Dental Assistant in November of 2019 and was promoted to Clinical Manager in April of 2021. While she was recently certified as a Dental Assistant, she has been working in the dental field for a long time as a Dentist in Ukraine. She is taking classes to begin pursuing a DDS degree here in the United States and enjoys being a part of the dental field in the meantime.

Dr. Brad Packer graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2015. He went on to complete a general practice residency at the University of Colorado. He loves helping his patients receive the dental care they need in a comfortable and caring environemnt.

Dr. Packer grew up in Rochester, Minnesota and now especially enjoys the weather here in Colorado. When hes not in the office, he spends his time with his wife and two active kids. He enjoys photography, music, playing tennis, and enjoying the outdoors.

Christine joined our team in May of 2021 is a Pre-Dental student at CSU, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Biological Sciences Degree. She began working in the dental field in 2018 and loves the experience of working at Owens Dental where she can see a variety of dental procedures and learn how a dental office works. She is passionate about helping others through the dental field and hopes to go to school to be an Orthodontist.

Christine is originally from Littleton, CO and loves living in Fort Collins and going to CSU! In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading and music and has also enjoyed volunteering to help at the Special Olympics.

Alexa joined our team in May of 2021 is a Pre-Dental student at CSU where she is working towards a Undergraduate Degree in Biomedical Sciencees with a Minor in Sociology. She began working in the dental field in 2019 and has been enjoying the experience of working at Owens Dental where she can see a variety of dental procedures and learn how a dental office works.

Alexa is originally from Thornton, CO, but loves living in Fort Collins and attending CSU! Alexa also works as a Student Facilitator and Orientation Leader at CSU. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, spending time with family and friends and painting.

Shailene joined our team in August of 2020. She has been in the dental field since 2015 after graduating from the Institute of Business and Medical Careers with a perfect 4.0. She is passionate about installing confidence in others and says her patients smiles are a sign of her success. As the Whitening Specialist at Owens Dental, Shailene enjoys sharing her knowledge of the teeth whitening process with patients, helping patients achieve their ideal smile.

Marnie joined our team in March of 2021. While Marnie is new to the dental field, she has a great deal of experience working in healthcare. She is passionate about helping patients and looks forward to learning more about the dental field.

Audra joined our team in April 2019. She has been a Dental Hygienist since 2016 and is passionate about helping patients improve oral health. She loves teaching proper home care techniques and educating patients about dental hygiene. She enjoys meeting and helping our patients and working with such a fun team at Owens Dental.

Audra is originally from New York, but loves living in Fort Collins. She and her boyfriend love spending their free time enjoying all that Northern Colorado has to offer. She is passionate about botany and enjoys gardening and caring for her many houseplants.

Tammy joined our team in August of 2020. She has worked in the dental industry for many years in general dentistry and orthodontics. She brings a great deal of experience with dental insurance, treatment coordination and coordinating patient care. She is passionate about helping patients receive the dental care they need and using her knowledge of dental insurance to help them receive coverage for services.

Brenda joined the Owens Dental team in August of 2017 and has many years of experience in the dental field. She loves working in dentistry and making patients smile! She loves the personal relationships she makes with our patient family and working with such a great team.

Megan joined our team in September of 2016. She graduated from William Rainey Harper College with her degree in Dental Hygiene in the Spring of 2016. Megan brings with her years of dental office experience as well as years of experience as a highly-rated hygienist. She has undergone extensive training in hygiene and is passionate about being the best hygienist she can be. She enjoys working with a team who is as dedicated as she is to helping our patients achieve a beautiful and healthy smile.

Megan grew up in McHenry, Illinois and while she enjoys visiting family there, she loves living in Fort Collins and is happy to call Northern Colorado her new home. In her free time she enjoys being outside hiking, mountain biking, and snowboarding. She also enjoys reading, caring for her houseplants and spending time with her friends, fianc and dog, Frisco.

Sarah joined the Owens Dental team in May of 2013. She previously worked for a medical nonprofit in Denver and brings years of business management experience to the team. She graduated from Westmont College and is now taking classes at CSU Global towards an MBA with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership. Sarah is passionate about creating and maintaining good business practices that support the dental team in providing excellent patient care. She loves working in the dental field and with the wonderful team here at Owens Dental, supporting them in any way she can!

Sarah is originally from Morrison, CO, but loves living in Fort Collins! In her free time she enjoys trail running, backpacking, skiing, playing piano, reading, gardening and spending time with her husband and GSP, Dale.

Dr. Tim Owens graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2004, where he was nominated to be a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the Dental Honors Society. Immediately following his graduation, Dr. Owens spent a year completing a residency in general dentistry at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Prior to his DDS degree, Dr. Owens graduated Summa Cum Laude from SUNY Syracuse in 1999, with a Masters in Physical Therapy. He uses every day in his comprehensive approach to dentistry. Dr. Owens and his family moved to Fort Collins in 2006 and he began practicing at Harmony Dental Care, now Owens Dental. He loves working with the wonderful patients at Owens Dental, many of whom he has known for years.

Outside of the office, Dr. Owens loves spending time with his wife, Caroline, and their six children: Lindsey, Miles, Sam, Wesley, Julia and Calvin. Dr. Owens is actively involved in the LDS community, coaches his kids basketball teams, and enjoys volunteering for local charities.

Advancements in technology not only allow us to provide you with more ideal treatment, but they also help Dr. Owens and his team can detect and diagnose any issues before they become a problem.

At Owens Dental, we make it a priority to invest in the latest technology so that we can provide the best care possible. We are very excited to announce our latest addition: a Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) machine called the Vatech Pax Duo. This state-of-the-art machine is considered to be safe and emits significantly less radiation that a traditional CT scan. This allows us to take extra-oral 3-dimensional images! These clear images show both hard and soft tissues so Dr. Owens can see your teeth, jaws, nerves, airway and sinus cavities. This new technology enhances Dr. Owens diagnostic and treatment capabilities as it allows him to see abnormalities as well as underlying or potential issues. We are most excited to have this technology to aid with dental implant placement, full-mouth restorations, oral surgery and root canal therapy (endodontics).

Digital X-rays are the most important technology that Dr. Owens uses to view and determine your oral health. Using state-of-the-art technology, digital X-rays allow us to get a clear, detailed picture of your teeth, bones, and joints. Digital X-rays are low-radiation, high quality, and instantaneous.

Using an intraoral camera, we are able to easily and comfortably take images of your teeth and your mouth. The intraoral camera is a small video camera on a wand that we guide over and around your teeth to non-invasively capture images. These images are displayed on a screen in each operatory so that Dr. Owens can show you exactly what is going on in your mouth. A unique feature of the intraoral camera is the auto fluorescence technology which gives the ability to detect a cavity at different stages of its development thus allowing Dr. Owens to determine the most adequate treatment.

The Cavitron Ultrasonic Scaler has been proven as the most effective approach to achieving a thorough cleaning while maintaining oral comfort. The high vibrational energy crushes and removes debris in the mouth, disrupting bacterial cells and biofilm. The therapeutic washing and flushing of the periodontal pocket and root surface removes deposits effectively and promotes overall gum health.

Much of his advanced continuing education has focused on cosmetic dentistry and full mouth rehabilitations. In addition, he has also pursued extensive education to obtain his IV sedation license and was one of the first in Fort Collins to offer sedation dentistry.
