Dr. Brandon Owen is a board-certified orthodontic specialist and a world-renowned innovator. In addition to personally caring for all of our patients at the Owen Orthodontic Center, he is the President and Founder of KLOwen Braces makers of Stride Custom Braces.

Dr. Owen is recognized by orthodontists across the globe as a leader in digital orthodontics, lingual orthodontics, and TMJ. His passion for providing top quality patient care spurred Dr. Owen to create the nationally-acclaimed KLOwen Custom Braces System, for which he was given the prestigious OrthoInnovator Award by the American Association of Orthodontists.

The AAO has also invested in his bracket company, KLOwen Braces. He holds numerous patents and is asked to lecture at numerous conferences and schools each year. While most orthodontists use technology, Dr. Owen shapes it. A consultant for nearly a dozen companies in the digital orthodontic space, he is often the first one to get access to new innovations.

As well as winning the first American Association of Orthodontists Innovator Award, Dr. Owen was offered the position to lead digital braces development at three of the top orthodontic bracket companies.

He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and is an active member of the prestigious Angle Society. He has multiple publications and serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Alberta.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Owen and his team. My TMJ had advanced to the point of not being able to fully open my mouth for 10 months. I tried botox, a soft diet, muscle relaxers, and a new bite guard from my dentist-- all with no results. I still couldn't fully open my mouth. I was eventually told by a maxillofacial doctor that I may need surgery, but my insurance wouldn't cover it. I called a minimum of 12 different ENTs and other providers in the area. All of them told me they don't offer treatment for TMJ, even though their websites stated the opposite. Thankfully, I found Dr. Owen. He made me a specialized bite guard (that he invented) that has helped me regain mobility and flexibility in my jaw again--- all without surgery. In fact, I could already tell a big difference just after the first visit. After suffering for 10 months, I'm back on track again with a full range of motion and little to no pain.

I was referred to Dr. Owen for TMJ by an oral surgeon. With that type of referral, I felt very confident in seeing Dr. Owen. He made me an appliance for my TMJ and I am happy to say that his appliance works great. I can open my mouth wider and my pain went from a high 7 or 8 to a 0 or 1. I no longer have pain on chewing either. I am so grateful for his expertise. He is a very kind and caring doctor and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Owen is the first and only person to alleviate my chronic pain from TMJ. I've been through several dentists and orthodontists seeking answers with no success. Dr. Owen and his new technology have been life changing. He communicated the science and anatomy of my jaw and the mouth guard clearly and has taken all of my anxiety and concerns seriously. I no longer have the constant pain and trust that I can easily adjust my mouth guard as my teeth naturally shift slightly. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Owen if you have TMJ issues.

I was referred to Dr. Owen for my TMJ and alignment issues. Dr. Owen is so compassionate, conservative and an expert in TMD. It's amazing what a few tweaks of a normal mouth guard will do to your treatment. He used the mouth guard I already had made elsewhere and knew exactly what adjustments needed to be made to correct my issues. I would highly recommend Dr. Owen for your TMJ issues or any other ortho needs you may have.

What a great experience. Dr. Owen is thorough, honest and has the best interest of the patient at heart. He went above and beyond to make sure that I had an abnormality evaluated before proceeding with any treatment. He caught something that my other dentist have not picked up on and I am so grateful for his attention to detail. I was also incredibly impressed with his state of the art imaging and ortho options. They have it all- intelligence, integrity and technology.

I am a dentist in Fort Collins, Colorado and I am so sad we lost the best orthodontist I have ever met. My loss is Lakeway's gain! My entire family saw Dr. Owen for orthodontics and he is the best. From kids to adults he is top notch. I can't say enough about him. You will be impressed from the first visit to the final product. He is the best!!!!!

I would highly recommend Dr. Owen at Owen orthodontic center! He is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He really took his time to explain all the different options out there and the pros and cons of each! He is very personable and you can tell he is passionate about his work! Everyone in his office was nice, helpful, and responsive!

Dr. Owen is a compassionate and cutting edge orthodontist who also excels at treating TMD. As a general dentist in Ft. Collins, CO I had the pleasure of working with and referring patients to Dr. Owen as I always knew they would receive excellent care.
