Dr. Creighton Gallagher was born and raised in Topeka. Growing up, he enjoyed athletics and played football, basketball, and baseball during high school. Dr. Gallagher attended Kansas State University for his undergraduate degree before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Dr. Gallagher opened Overland Park Family Dentistry to provide the families in his community with a local, family-owned practice that offers modern technology and personalized treatment options. He believes the only way to provide exceptional dentistry is to be well-trained and educated. He stays on top of the latest advancements in the dental field by attending numerous courses, studying implant dentistry at the Zimmer Institute, and participating in the Spear Education study club.
Dr. Gallagher met his wife Michelle at Kansas State University. They now have two boys, Sullivan and Everett. When hes not at the office, Dr. Gallagher enjoys spending time with his family, going to the lake, and watching sports.
Gail started working in dentistry in 1974. She started her career as a dental assistant prior to transitioning to her current position so she commands knowledge of both the clinical and business aspects of our practice.
Outside Gails professional career, Gail has a son that works in dental sales, and has two beautiful grandchildren she loves to spoil. At home, her Blue Point Siamese named Callie has been her fur baby for 12 years. Gail helps care for her 90-year old mother on the weekends and fits in some painting and reading for relaxation.
Millie is from Peru and graduated as a dentist in 2009 from Peruvian Andes University (UPLA). Millie then worked as a volunteer for many years with Dentists Without Borders in Peru and Chile. She is bilingual and loves every aspect of dentistry.
Making patients feel comfortable in the dental chair is a priority for Mille. She is wonderful at motivating our patients. Millie feels very blessed to be working with Dr. Gallagher in this beautiful office filled with the latest technology.
Outside of work, Millie is a busy mom with two children: Zoe (4 years old) and Santiago (2 years old). She enjoys swimming, cooking and spending time with her family. Millie practices Peruvian ethnic dances and shares her native culture with her friends and family.
Working at Overland Park Family Dental is very rewarding. The atmosphere is very welcoming and feels just like home. In our reception area we have flatscreen TVs, complimentary beverages, and games for the children. You wont want to leave!
Our Hygienist, Becca, has been practicing for nine years. After attending K-State for a couple of years, she headed off to Dental hygiene school in Colby, Kansas. She made her way to Kansas City and has made it her home for the past 8 years.
When not at the office creating bright smiles, she is chasing around her rambunctious and loving son, Myles, who is three years old. Becca and Myles both have a big heart for animals and share their home with two dogs, two cats, two guinea pigs, and chickens.

Dr. Gallagher and his staff were professional, courteous, and very friendly. They made sure I was properly informed before starting my wisdom tooth extraction. Dr. Gallagher was pleasant to deal with, so was his hygienist. This was as pleasant of a dental visit as one can have, and I'm not fond of going to the dentist. haha I very highly recommend Overland Park Family Dental.

Dr Gallagher is very friendly , warm and always has this pleasant demeanor when communicating with the patient. He has great bedside care. He's very knowledgeable and explains everything clearly and answers all your questions PLEASANTLY. Been going here for my dental needs since 2018 and I wouldn't go anywhere else. His staff is very friendly as well. 100% recommend !

My wife and I moved to the area 4 years ago and became new patients to Overland Park Dental and Dr. Gallagher at that time. I have always had anxiety about the dentist my entire life but I can say without a doubt Dr Gallagher and the entire staff make it as easy and stress free as it can possibly be. Earlier today I went in to have some work done that frankly had me tense but Dr Gallagher had me at ease as he explained exactly what he was going to do step by step and let me know these steps as he was performing. His assistant was top notch and I felt a level of calm I have never experienced in a dentist chair...and I am close to 60 years of age. If you are uneasy about the dentist I would encourage you to give Overland Park Family Dental a call and speak to Gail to get the process started, she is awesome along with the rest of the staff here.

It was pretty good when I visited the first time. I had tooth pain and it was checked. After I scheduled a cleaning it went downhill. I was getting sores in my mouth and the first person refused to schedule an appointment. When I called back in three or four days later they stated my wisdom teeth were impacted and that's probably why I was getting them. If they would have seen me that would have been resolved, it was the wisdom teeth. If I hadn't called back in I am unsure of what the result would have been. I understand I get nervous a lot about my teeth, but the whole point of a dentist is to schedule them to look at it and you pay them. When I canceled future cleanings and removed myself from their system they did not care. So it's fantastic to know they don't care about their customers. I found a better dental practice that cares :)

Dr. Gallagher is a good dentist but don't make a Tuesday appointment if you have a schedule that changes. They close on Mondays so even if you call to give notice, they will not get that notice. They just kicked my family out of their practice because I tried to change an appointment 3 times in a two year period for my son. ( my daughter, however has been treated several times) I called on Monday and the appointment was Tuesday. Now, I am left to find a new dentist, right before my son has braces placed. I could understand doing this if I didn't call. But they choose to be closed on a weekday, without monitoring their phones, and then hold it against the patients.Not fair!

I just recently moved to Overland Park, KS and was looking for a dentist. After reading reviews, I selected Overland Park Family Dental. I am really glad I did. The office was clean, super friendly, and took great care of me explaining everything. Dr. Gallagher was very patient and made me feel at ease while I was there. I highly recommend this dentist to anyone looking.

Dr. Gallagher and his staff put me at ease with my dental anxiety. Friendly doctor....friendly staff. And pain free! I needed some fillings and they used a numbing gel before injecting the anesthesia. I didn't feel a thing. I also like the private rooms with the TV's on ceiling. Nice touch. Highly recommend!

Dr. Gallagher did a great job with a couple of fillings that I needed to get replaced. Everything was quick and painless and the fillings feel great! I usually see Cassie for cleanings and she does a great job and is super friendly! When I went in this time Jill was available for the time I needed and was very impressed with how thorough she was - both super excellent hygienists! The front desk really does everything in their power to work with insurance to make patients lives easier as well. I love the updated technology they use which makes me comfortable that nothing gets missed. I definitely will continue to trust Dr. Gallagher's team to take care of my smile!

I would never recommend this office. They suggest unnecessary treatments and tell you insurance will cover it without actually checking. Will never go back

Dr. Gallagher and team are understanding and willing to work with you in cases where you need to visit them on short notice. Very professional group that take great care of you whether it is a typical cleaning or repairing a bridge.

I love that they open so early. I work a standard 9-5 Monday through Friday and getting in to the dentist and the doctors is always so hard for me. I was happy to learn they do appointments at 7 am. Definitely planning on making this my go to dentist

He caters to dental Chickens like me. I've been in Kansas City for 10 years and Dr Gallagher is the first dentist I have felt comfortable with. Others have been helpful, but I felt very taken care of from the front desk to working with Mille to the cavity filling. I've had two cavities filled since coming to this office and am delighted at their dental plan. I am a naturalista, and really like wholistic dentistry(only reason I gave 4 stars) While Dr. Gallagher is more of a mainstream dentist, he is respectful of my views and helps me to make informed decisions about my dental care. Being able to see color pictures of my teeth has been a game changer. No other dentist has done this.
