After leaving Alabama to attend dental school at the University of Louisville, Dr. Carter returned home to Birmingham with his wife, Dr. Laura Crocker Mitchell, a pediatrician in the ER at Children's of Alabama. When not at work, he is often found in his home gym or spending time with their fur baby, Dasher. They love eating at the amazing Mountain Brook restaurants. At your next visit, make sure to ask him about his love of Cheez-its.
As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve with new variants and low vaccination rates in Alabama, our primary concern remains your safety. For the foreseeable future, if you have not received your COVID-19 vaccine, we will continue to ask that you wear a mask when not receiving treatment during your time in the office. All staff will continue to wear masks as we did prior to COVID-19. Our waiting room has re-opened at this time.
