Our practice also features an in-office dental lab so that we can ensure excellent results and reduce your treatment time!
I was born in a small town in northeast Romania. When I was 5 years old, my mom had some dental treatment to be done, and she took me with her to see the dentist. Dr. Glater was a very nice guy and took the time to show me the lab and what was he doing. It made such an impression on me that from 5 years old I did not want to be anything else but a dentist. And so my passion for dentistry began.
I worked hard to first become a certified dental technician. Then after communism fell, I enrolled in dental school in Romania, where I attended for one year. I came to the U.S. in 1992, and I started all over again. I enrolled for undergrad studies at University of Portland and then Oregon Health Sciences University Dental School, graduating in 2000. Prosthodontics and oral surgery are two areas in dentistry that intrigued me the most, so I decided to further my education. Medical College of Georgia Dental School Prosthodontic Department gave me that opportunity, and I graduated in 2003 as a prosthodontic specialist.
While in residency, 9/11 happened, so on September 17, 2001, I enrolled in the U.S. Army Reserves as a captain. It was a joy and an honor to serve along the brave men and women of the USAR for eight years. This country gave me so much that I wanted to give something back, and that was my opportunity.
Over the years, I have continued to improve my skills and my knowledge in an industry that has made more progress in the last 20 years than it did in 100 years before that. I love treating patients and also use the most advanced technology that we have available. I am a member of the Academy of Osseointegration, and I regularly attend meetings and continuing education courses to advance my training and skills.
My goal is to become the best dentist possible and to provide my patients with comprehensive dental treatments. I hope that my expertise, and my life experiences, make me a compassionate surgical prosthodontist.
Brenda entered the dental field in 1986 as a registered dental assistant. She graduated from East Texas State Commerce in 1987, and in 2011 opened her own dental consultant business. She joined our team in June 2018, and loves being part of a great team!
Christopher graduated from the dental assisting program at Anthem College, and joined our team in 2019. He has had the privilege of working with Dr. Vacarean for several years now, and loves what we do for our patients. Christopher brings with him great experience and passion for the dental field, and works to help our patients feel comfortable and keep our schedule running smoothly.

Virgil is awesome. I had major teeth problems at my age. He gave me a beautiful smile with crowns and correcting my bite. I really like how gentle he is. I am no longer scared of getting my teeth fixed in the chair. Very little pain involved.

Dr Vacarean is helping is for many years with our dental health. He is very kind, listens to you and makes a plan together with you! Entire staff is very courteous also! Chris and Sam helped me today and you could not ask for better people to help you! Chris was sure that everything was very clean done and all the protective systems were in place. I like how much care he showed to be sure that the lead was properly placed when he took the X-ray. Definitely a great doctor and a great office staff!

The office here keeps sending me an invoice even though my insurance and I have already paid our portions. I am being billed for the full rate instead of the in-network rate for which I have already paid and the office is trying to charge me for the difference. This has been going on for years, they need to go back and review because neither I nor my insurance is going to pay the full rate. I haven't been back since the accounting is not competent to bill correctly.

Called around to a couple of oral surgeons in the area, and Oval Dental was able to get me in for a consult on the same day. The office is beautiful. Jasmine at the front desk is AMAZING. She's very knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Vacarean has great bedside manner as does his assistant. My procedure took a total of 20 minutes with no pain at all. 10/10 recommend!

I chipped my lower central tooth, and Dr. Vacarean's office quickly opened an appointment for me. He gave me several options on how to repair the tooth, along with the pros and cons. Fortunately the less expensive option was his preferred method of repair. Dr. Vacarean and his team are so professional and courteous, and I highly recommend Oval Dental.
