I moved to the Holland area and was in search of a new home office. I must say, I am glad I chose OBD. I couldn't be happier with my first visit/experience. The office ambiance has a serene feel to it - I felt comfortable and at ease. The staff was friendly and courteous. I was explained step by step what I should expect in the first visit and I really liked and appreciated that. Overall, I highly recommend Ottawa Beach Dental :)

I can't say enough great things. Going to the dentist is never "fun," but they work as hard as possible to make it comfortable at Ottawa Beach. For once, I'm not dreading my next appointment and I don't feel pressured to do anything I don't want/need to do. Thanks!

They are very professional. I always feel well informed about my dental hygiene. Restorative work is excellent. I needed 2 crowns this year and have had no problems with them. They're beautiful. Dr Poel is one of the most polite people I've ever met.

My wife and I've been in Holland for about three years we've been driving back-and-forth to Grand Blanc Michigan. that is where our dentist has been for the last 17 years a friend of mine told me about dr. Poel and his team so I made an appointment for my wife and myself and it was a great experience . they made us feel like family they were very professional and very caring thank you so much. This was my first visit to Ottawa Beach Dental. The staff were all professional and welcoming, and genuinely concerned for my comfort during the exam. Cara was thorough and gentle, Dr. Poel made sure I understood the treatment plan for my care going forward. It was a very pleasant visit and I would highly recommend this dental practice.

Kind and professional doctor and staff. I know it sounds odd but it is actually a little relaxing to visit. The one filling I had was handled with zero pain and he always takes time to explain things. I feel that Dr. Poel and his staff care for my overall well-being - including financial (what best suits my insurance). Highly recommend.

My husband and I are new patients here and we're very impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and the professionalism we experienced at our first appts. The office is very inviting and friendly as soon as you enter to check in. Cara and Kelsi were great about explaining everything to us as they did all of our Xrays and cleanings. Even with our sensitivity the cleanings were very gentle and well done. Dr Poel was friendly and very easy to talk to. He spent time with us reviewing the issues and concerns he found with our teeth and then explained the treatment options fully so we understood them. You can tell from the staff that they really care about the well being and comfort of their patients. The two gals at the front desk made check in and check out a breeze and explained things to us since it was our first time at the office. All of the staff we met today took time to listen to us, and answer our questions. Very pleased with our care!

Had an appointment today. I spent 99% of the appointment under Cara. She is incredibly kind, informative and with good energy. No pain, no discomfort. I only saw Dr Nathan for like 3-5 mins so i cant really speak for what it's like to get treatment from him. UPDATE: I have had already two appointments with Dr Nathan, and man, if this aint your dentist already, I dont know what you are waiting for. Extremely kind, friendly, informative and very professional. He's fantastic at his job. I never have any pain. I dont know how to word the following but as person of color, he never made me feel less than but seemed eager to hear my perspectives on things when different subjects would come up. He's got great humor too. As a patient you just gotta practice delivering those punchlines with half your mouth numb and 17 tools in your mouth haha jk His staff is always so warm and welcoming as well.

Let's be real, going to the dentist is the LAST THING anyone wants to do. This office helps you forget that dental work isn't fun, the receptionist Stephanie is warm and welcoming, the hygienists are not only kind and gentle but they're funny and happy, last but not least Dr. Poel is literally the sweetest and gentlest wielder of sharp instruments you will ever meet! AND they are realistic prices! I hate to tell you how good this place is because once the word is out, I'll have a harder time getting in!

Cara my hygienist is great! I am always personally greeted in the waiting room and have never had to wait. She is thorough and personable. Dr. Poel is prompt, honest, and polite. I feel that he gives me an honest and intelligent assessment of my dental needs. I highly recommend Ottawa Beach Dental.
