I love Doctor Otero, he's one of the Best and am really disappointed to feel the need to look for another dentist due to the poor front desk customer service. When I called requesting an appointment to see Dr. Otero I was asked if I wanted a cleaning. I said no, just an appointment to see the doctor. I even added that I am a daily flosser. She scheduled me for 9 am the next morning and I remember saying to her "wow so fast, I was expecting the appointment for next week". So, I made arrangements and was there at 8:55 seeing other people go in. At 9:30 I simply asked if my appointment was indeed at 9 and she said I would be called shortly. At that, the lady who had scheduled my appointment and asked if I wanted a cleaning comes to the lobby and asks "Why don't you consider cleaning your teeth while the doctor is still in surgery?" Still in surgery?? So I asked, "why did you schedule me for 9 if he was scheduled for surgery. I saw him walk in as I arrived". I said "no" and I expressed my discontent with her not valuing my time. I waited 2 minutes after she had retreated and let the front desk know I had decided to leave.
