Dr. Shelden Sacks was born in Boston. He graduated from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, and received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1978. He then received a post graduate certificate in General Practice also from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Sacks moved to Central New York and openedFulton Dental Health Associatesin 1979.
Dr. Sacks lives in Fayetteville, New York with his wife Andrea, a retired special education teacher. He has 3 children: Samantha, a consultant in Chicago, Rachel, a graphic designer in Denver and his son Dylan who is an analyst for a pharmaceutical company.
Dr. Sacks is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, a member of the Onondaga County Dental Society and American Dental Association. He has achieved more than 1000 hours of continuing education credits. He enjoys golf and traveling.
Dr. Joel Efron (Oral Surgeon) was born in Brooklyn, New York. He attended college at SUNYAlbany, and then received his dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating dental school, Dr. Efron attended St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital where he took an internship and residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

After 30+ years of satisfactory care I developed an issue 2 years ago and was told they couldn't squeeze me in, that I should call another dentist. Last year I developed a terrible toothache. I was told they could get me in in 2 months!! When I was going to ask if one of the other dentists could squeeze me in the receptionist told me to call another dentist and hung up on me. I'm very pleased with the dentist I was seeing but don't expect to get care when you need it most.
