He then went on to study orthodontics for an additional three years at The Dental and Orthodontic Association for Research and Teaching in Mexico.
Dr. Medellin moved to California 22 years ago, and while he waited to validate his dental license in the US, he worked as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. During this time, he also worked as a quality control supervisor at a dental lab. In 2011, Dr. Medellin relocated to the San Fernando Valley, where he met his wife, started a family, and opened OrthoGrace Dental in Northridge. Dr. Medellin is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
