He then went on to study orthodontics for an additional three years at The Dental and Orthodontic Association for Research and Teaching in Mexico.
Dr. Medellin moved to California 22 years ago, and while he waited to validate his dental license in the US, he worked as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. During this time, he also worked as a quality control supervisor at a dental lab. In 2011, Dr. Medellin relocated to the San Fernando Valley, where he met his wife, started a family, and opened OrthoGrace Dental in Northridge. Dr. Medellin is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

The staff made sure I felt comfortable and they were very easy to talk to and joke around with.the dentist explained everything step by step and didn't leave nothing out

I really appreciate the care and patience that Dr Joe Medellin shows to me during my dental appointments. Everything is explained to me before it's done. In fact I am the only patient in the office during my appointments. Which is a nice change from going to other Corporate dental offices. Dr. Joe is personable and makes sure you are comfortable every step of the way during your procedure. Dr Jose and his team always make me feel welcome and at ease. The extra care they take to make sure patients are comfortable is so appreciated! They are also great with kids. My daughter actually thought going to the dentist was fun. Thank you Orthograce for another great dental experience!! This is my dental office for life. :)

Been a patient for about 4 or so years now and haven't had a complaint since. I've even recommended Dr. Medellin to close family members and they feel the same way... The staff is always so friendly and helpful; I can't say the least of Dr. Medellin and his wife. They're also very clean and organized, which is a MUST, especially during this pandemic. If you have kids, this is also a great place for them. 10/10, I'll continue recommending.

We absolutely love Dr. Medellin's office.! The staff is always so so nice & they are great with my kids. As for Dr. joe.. we love him. He's always so kind & professional! By far the best dental office and best doctor we've had. I highly recommend this office for the whole family!
