To practice as an orthodontist, a dentist must successfully complete several years of additional training in an orthodontic program accredited by the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO). Our doctors are all specialists and active members of the AAO as well as the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists and the Maryland State Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Siegel earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brooklyn College and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1980. He received his certificate in orthodontics from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Upon graduation from dental school, he served as a commissioned officer in the United States Public Health Service. Prior to becoming an orthodontic specialist, Dr. Siegel was in the private practice of general dentistry with his wife, Mindy, who is also a dentist.
Dr. Siegel is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, the Maryland State Society of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association. Over the past 20 years, he has been a member of the Johns Hopkins Craniofacial and Cleft Palate Rehabilitation Team.
Dr. Siegel is an assistant clinical professor faculty member in the University of Maryland School of Dentistry post-graduate orthodontic department. He is past-president of both the Maryland State Society of Orthodontists and the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists. He currently serves as trustee of the American Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Batouli earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Chicago with honors in 2001, and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland Dental School in 2007, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then obtained her Master of Science degree and orthodontic certificate at the University of Maryland Dental School in 2010. Prior to and during dental school, Dr. Batouli was involved in various research projects at the National Institutes of Health, regarding dental stem cells. Her research has been published in both the Journal of Dental Research and The Lancet.
Dr. Batouli is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, the Maryland State Society of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. She currently resides in Ellicott City and when she is not practicing orthodontics, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family.
We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
Drs. Siegel and Batouli are certified specialists who limit their practice to the specialty of orthodontics. Years of additional education and examinations are required for certification. Our doctors are honors graduates and recipients of numerous awards. Dr. Siegel is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, and he is a member of the Johns Hopkins Cleft and Craniofacial Center team.

Dr Siegel and his staff are amazing! From the start, we were greeted by a warm and friendly front office staff. During each visit, Dr Sielgel and his team took the time to clearly explain everything to me and my children with great courtesy and respect. The level of professionalism and care we received at each visit was top-notch. In addition, the results of the orthodontic care my children received were exactly what we had hoped for. We could not be happier that we chose Dr. Siegel's office for our orthodontic needs!

When it came time for braces, my daughter's dentist recommended Dr. Siegel to us. After our free consultation with them, we decided to go with Dr. Siegel and his staff and we are SO GLAD we did! We have no regrets! Dr. Siegel and every single member of his team, from the front desk to the clinical assistants are kind, compassionate, professional and first-class. Their entire office and dental stations are always neat and clean. I must also say that Marlene at the front desk is so very kind! If she has ever had a bad day you would never know it. There has never been a time that she was not kind and helpful with every little emergency or simple question we've had. My daughter is now out of her braces after nearly 2 yrs and continues to see Dr. Siegel for regular check-ups. We can never say enough good about Orthodontists of Maryland. If you are in need of an orthodontist choose Dr. Siegel! You will be so glad you did! This place deserves more than 5 stars!

Years ago my oldest daughter needed braces and we went for a consultation to the orthodontist office the dentist recommended. We sat forever just waiting for the consult. It was not a pleasant experience and the quote was VERY expensive! I told my dentist I was going for a 2nd opinion/consult and went to Dr. Siegel's office. What a great experience! The entire staff is friendly and amazing! They were significantly less expensive as well which was just a bonus! When my younger daughter needed braces, we didn't even consider going anywhere other than Orthodontists of Maryland. I would very highly recommend this practice! Now that my daughter has her braces off, I will miss our monthly visits.

Staff is ALWAYS friendly to patients as well Family members during office visits. If problems with braces arose after hours they have someone on call that listens and is able to come to the office or can give advice over the phone. Never a problem to change appointment date or time if given enough notice. The token reward system encouraged my daughter to keep her braces clean and issue free. Time frame they expected braces to be on was exact. We will miss our every 6 weeks appointment with the staff at Glen Burnie.

Doctors and staff are pleasant and welcoming. Wait time has always been EXCEPTIONAL! In more than 2 years as a patient, I honestly don't remember waiting to be seen for more than 5 minutes. Dr's Siegel and Botouli have my teeth looking amazing. Still receiving compliments.

Dr. Siegel and the whole staff are wonderful and amazing! We've only gotten the very best care and service! They treat us with the utmost respect and care. I never feel uncomfortable asking questions. Everyone is very thorough and clear with procedures and instructions. I wouldn't ever hesitate to recommend this office to anyone looking for a reputable orthodontist!
