The good news is that Invisalign clear aligners now offer a faster and more discrete way of straightening your teeth and giving you the smile you deserve. Invisalign is a system of clear aligners that helps teenagers and adults achieve straight, even smiles without the use of traditional or clear braces. Since Invisalign aligners are made specifically to treat each patients orthodontic needs, they are often more comfortable to wear. Invisalign is slightly more expensive than traditional braces. However, for a lot of patients, the effectiveness of the device outweighs the increased rates. You should review your dental insurance policy to determine if it covers the cost of Invisalign, but many providers accept dental insurance and have financial plans to make the smile of your dreams more affordable.
One of the things that people hate about having traditional or even clear braces is that they have to give up certain foods during treatment. With Invisalign, there are no food restrictions. One of the few times that you remove your aligners is when you are eating. Then, you clean your teeth and put your aligners back in. You can continue to eat crunchy foods, drink coffee, and eat foods with tomato based sauces. Your orthodontist will send the information about your bite and your teeth to Invisalign, which will create a digital simulation of the movement your teeth will undergo with treatment. You will wear each set of aligners for just a few weeks and visit the orthodontist every four to six weeks to monitor your progress. Invisalign also has a custom cleaning kit for your aligners. Although you can remove your aligners and clean them with a toothbrush, the custom cleaning kit is still important. At the end of your treatment, you may require the use of retainers in order to keep your teeth in their new places.

Absolutely terrible. Brackets broke every week from the littlest of things, my son would always have metal wire sticking out, poking at and getting stuck in his cheek, causing pain, and the cheek to have a hole in it. These are cheap braces for a lottttttt of money and it's all this guy cares about. I've heard good things about the place down the street, i forgot the name but just don't go here. It's hell for the patient.

Great Orthodontist! My teeth we absolutely awful when I first stepped into this facility and now they are just amazing! Dr. Hietanen ever visit would explain exactly what was going to happen in detail before any work was done so I was in the know the entire process. He would spend a good amount of time to make sure I understood what was supposed to happen. All of the staff are friendly! And before you leave from one appointment they will always ask if anything is poking your mouth that could cause unnecessary pain. While the process was long it is so nice to see what great work they do here in the end! This is where you should go to get your teeth fixed!

Dr Irene was great. When she retired the new orthodontists were fairly nice and adjustment was smooth. But Dr Hietanen turned out to be a chauvinist and felt patients do not have the right to make informed decisions if they do not align with what he wants them to do. The other doctors are great and were willing to discuss and respect a declination of surgery, but unless you can guarantee not to get stuck seeing him as well, I wouldn't recommend this office to a friend or neighbor.

My daughter recently started treatment here, and I was impressed so I went to see Dr. Hietanen myself about some jaw issues I've been having. He spent quite a bit of time with me, and is very knowledgeable. He also has a range of diagnostic tools that he uses before making any treatment recommendation. Between 5 kids, we've had insurance changes & a move, so we've seen several orthodontists over the years. None have ever tried to look for the underlying cause of alignment issues like Dr. Hietanen has. Highly recommend!
