Dr. Paolo Saggese graduated from the University of Delaware in 2006 with a B.A. in Biological Sciences and a Minor in Italian. He went on to receive his D.M.D. from the prestigious Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, the second oldest dental school in the country. Dr. Saggese completed a General Practice Residency at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY which focused on endodontic procedures and oral surgery as well as emergency medicine. Dr. Saggese is a graduate of the NYU College of Dentistry Implantology Fellowship Program. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, or FICOI.
Dr. Saggese is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry, attending many continuing education courses to further his advancement in the fields of cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He enjoys all aspects of comprehensive dental care, from preventative treatments to the placement of dental implants.
With the ever changing technology and treatments available for patients, Dr. Saggese stays up to date with the latest procedures that follow the strict guidelines of evidence based dentistry. Dr. Bobak Bakhshoudeh was born and raised in Long Island, NY where he received his Bachelor of Science degree at SUNY Stony Brook University. Dr. Bakhshoudeh graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in the top 20% of his class, recognized through induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. Dr. Bakhshoudeh was the recipient of The Samuel Charles Miller Award, recognizing a high degree of knowledge and skill in periodontology. He completed a one-year general practice residency at Woodhull Medical Center, training in all aspects of dentistry, including implant placement and complex surgeries. Dr. Bakhshoudeh returned to NYU for a two-year Advanced Education Specialty Program in Endodontics.
Recipient of the Dentsply Resident Award for the presentation of his Endodontic research at the annual session by the American Association of Endodontics. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontics and an American Board of Eligible Endodontists.
This patient was unhappy with the space between her teeth, she also had damage from grinding. Ortho treatment would have fixed the gap in her front teeth but would not have addressed any of her other cosmetic concerns. I took my Twin daughters to Dr. Lewkowitz and she is so sweet! My girls are very comfortable with her and she does an amazing job. I definitely recommend her!

Dr. Lewkowitz has been the most amazing orthodontist, working with my surgeon getting me through prep for orthognathic surgery, and then ensuring everything was perfect. She is an extremely knowledgeable doctor, and a very caring one to boot. I only wish she worked in the city when I saw her, but I traveled out to Great Neck to see her and it was totally worth it!

Dr. Lewkowitz took care of both of my children's orthodontist needs My children are now adults and their teeth and smile are great. They still get compliments on their teeth. There is none better than Dr. Lewkowitz.

Dr. Lewkowitz was my childhood orthodontist in Little Neck , and made me proud to show off my brace face. Years later i found that my smile needed some tweaking, and she is the only person I would see. She offered me invisilign, but also offered "traditional" braces that were so small, they were basically invisible. At the end of my treatment she went in with a "fine tooth comb " by shaping my teeth and whitening them. I get so many compliments that now I send everyone I know in Manhattan and the tri-state area to her. She is kind, detail oriented and makes the appointments and process fun. Choosing Dr. Lewkowitz will be the best decision you will have ever made!

Dr. Lewkowitz is an exceptional orthodontist. She did an incredible job on my braces. I have many friends who had their braces done by Karen and they all had wonderful experiences. She is unquestionably one of the best orthodontists out there. She is also very kind, friendly and professional.
