Honor Dental Society Inductee.She then moved to Texas to complete a General Practice Residency to learn about advanced procedures in aesthetic dentistry and surgery, followed byan Orthodontic Residency and a Masters of Clinical InvestigationDegree at the University Of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.Since graduating,she hasbeen practicing orthodonticsin Houstonand is also a Clinical Assistant Professorat theUT School of Dentistry in Houston.
Dr. Tanisa member of the American Association of Orthodontists andhas beenBoard Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.She alsotries to staycurrentin all dental fields in order tocollaborate well with other dentists and specialistsintreatingcomplex cases.Shehas achievedFellow Status of the AGD,for completion of many courses anddemonstrating a significant knowledge of current dental topics.Dr. Tanis also very involved with several dental, alumniand community organizations. She currently serves as President of the Houston Asian American Dental Society.
Angela has been a member of our team since 2016 and comes to us with over 7 years of experience in the dental administration field. She is committed to providing the best quality of care to our patients, building relationships and ensuring them the best orthodontic experience! Outside of work, Angela dedicates her time to her daughter, Isabella. She enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Leah has been in the dental field for over 15 years and has experience in many areas of a dental office. She is the first smile youll see and first voice youll hear when you contact our office.In her personal time, she enjoys spending days at the beach with her familybut her all time favoritehobby is attending or watching a Rockets game!
The goals of an orthodontistare threefold: Esthetics, Function and Stability.First, your orthodontist will transform your smile intosomething beautifulandhe/she willcorrect your bite. Having a better smile boosts your confidence. You will feel good about yourself and you will take better care of your brand new smile. Your bite is also improved through orthodontics, allowing for better function, better oral hygiene,andit also prevents excessive wear and trauma to teeth.Finally, your orthodontist will try to set your bite so that it is as stable as possible. However, you must still do your part and wear your retainers.
The duration of orthodontic treatment varies from patient to patient. The typical experience lasts from one to three years depending on the severity of the problem, individual response to treatment, compliance, and other factors. Due to the multiple variables that affect treatment progress, the estimated treatment time cannot be precise. Sometimes orthodontic treatment must be combined with jaw surgery, dental implants and/or extractions and these may prolong treatment time as well.

Dr. Tan and her team are wonderful. Both my boys got braces from Orthodontique and their teeth look great. Even after 2 years, my eldest gets compliments from his dentist on how great his teeth look. Highly recommend!!

We LOVE Dr. Tan and her staff. She is caring, knowledgeable, honest and gentle with her patients. My daughter is almost done with her treatment at her office but I will be taking my other children there as well. I recently referred a family member to her for a second opinion after they shared their experience at another dental clinic. She was so honest with them and reassured them that it was much too early to start such an aggressive treatment for a 2nd grader. She truly cares about her patients and we highly recommend her to everyone!

Dr. Tan and her staff are AWESOME. They're passionate in what they do. The quality of the work makes it all worth while and being able to make reasonable monthly payments makes it even better. They've taken great care of my 13yr old and my 8yr old is looking forward to get her braces after her big sister gets hers off.

Dr. Tan is the sweetest, most patient and kind doctor. Her facility it's so clean and welcoming all the time. All her staff have great customer service. I have taken so many years to finish my invisiline treatment but Dr. tan is always so kind to me and keeps welcoming me back even if we have to start again. Now my son is getting braces and i know he is in great hands. Also! The wait it's never long!
