Dr. Helmy Y. Mostafa obtained his Advanced Education in General Dentistry from Marquette University School of Dentistry. He then received his DScD from Binghamton University. After, he received his graduate certification in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics from Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics, followed by a Doctor of Science in Dentistry (DScD) from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Mostafa has deep experience performing a wide range of orthodontic services and is a certified Invisalign provider.

Absolutely recommend... My daughter needed braces badly. My insurance wasn't so great. They worked with me and her teeth are amazing now. As well she was comfortable and excited to chit chat. Everyone was was the best with scheduling and kindness.. will be going back soon for my son...

I have been a patient here for almost 3 yrs and it has been a pleasure all the way through. The staff are very kind and Dr.Mostafa truly cares about his patients & staff. Its always a positive atmosphere here even when its busy. Although i do want to get my braces off soon, i will miss having to come in every other week.

I'm very happy with this establishment. The people are nice, the procedures rarely take more than an hour, and my braces feel great with no poking or scratching.

I will miss seeing all the staff at Orthodontics of the Southern Tier when I'm done with my braces! Even after a few months go by between appointments, the staff remember things we've talked about and it makes me feel very comfortable and welcomed. They go above and beyond to accommodate any of my needs(changing appt times, talking me through my concerns). There was one appointment when I had low blood sugar from skipping breakfast and felt faint; Dr. Mostafa ran out and bought me juice and snacks without hesitating. I would recommend OOTST to anybody and their rates were better than others in the area when I was shopping around!

Amazing staff, Very nice and helpful even when I've done a bad job brushing or something there still kind about it. One time my brace broke and they setup an appointment real quick. I have had no problems with them.

Absolutely horrible place daughter was to have braces off sept 22 they called to reschedule today her gums were bothering her went to her other dentist and they found a wire in bedded in her gums causing infection she was told braces need to come off TODAY she called them and they said sorry can't do it how nice of them as she has paid them in full out of her hard earned money as a 17 year old child all they want is your money not customer satisfaction

The staff is amazing!!! They are all so friendly, which made appointments feel very comfortable and easy. I am extremely happy with how my teeth turned out after my treatment here!!

The OOTSD is such a friendly and welcoming place! The staff here is amazing, defiantly makes the 1hr+ drive worth it! Their office is very clean and up-to-date. They are very trustworthy and very convenient to work with!
