Meet the doctors at Orthodontics Ltd. Dr. Schuler and Dr. McShane keep up with the newest research and technology so that they can provide the most effective treatment with Invisalign and braces. Originally from the Chicago suburb of Worth, Dr. Schuler attended Northern Illinois University, where he graduated Cum Laude with a degree in biology. He attended Loyola University of Chicagos School of Dentistry, again graduating Cum Laude in 1983 with a doctorate in dentistry. Following graduation, Dr. Schuler served as a general dental officer with the United States Air Force. After his service in the Air Force, Dr. Schuler maintained a private dental practice in Fort Myers, Florida. In 1991 Dr. Schuler attended the University of Louisville, completing a specialty residency in orthodontics in 1993 with a Master of Science degree. He joined Drs. Grimm and Arkwell in 1993.
Dr. Schuler has been published extensively in orthodontics, with numerous scientific articles in various publications. He also teaches as an associate professor of orthodontics at the University of Louisville.
Dr. McShane grew up in Peoria, Illinois and attended Notre Dame High School. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in psychology, he attended Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, where he earned a doctorate in dentistry. Following his dental education, Dr. McShane attended the orthodontic residency program at Saint Louis University, earning a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Following his orthodontic residency, Dr. McShane worked in a private practice in St. Louis.
Dr. McShane is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. He is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, and has authored many articles in orthodontics, including airway analysis and sleep apnea, as well as advancements in Invisalign and oral hygiene technology.

I have been to other orthodontists but this office is far beyond great in comparison. They listen to me and my child. There is barely ever a wait. They always have supplies and offer extras. Dr Mcshane is very nice and explains everything and what the "game plan" is. Would recommend this to anyone needing an orthodontist!

I would highly recommend coming to this place for any orthodontic work needed! I had braces put on when I was younger and everyone was so nice. The staff is great and Dr Schuler is amazing and so kind. He was so helpful and made the whole experience better. I just had to go back to get a new permanent retainer put in and had just as wonderful of an experience again! Everyone is professional, helpful and so friendly here.

Clean, organized, super friendly staff, and completely equipped with games for the kiddos, coffee/tea/water, 2 brushing stations, etc! Love Dr. McShane - he's so great with the kiddos! Highly recommend!!!
