A native Coloradoan, Dr. Duran was born and raised in Durango, Colorado. Prior to establishing himself as a provider of Englewood and Aurora Orthodontics, Dr. Duran graduated from New Mexico State University in 1985 with a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry. Dr. Duran went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) in 1989 from Creighton Boyne School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Duran worked for the Indian Public Health Service in Shiprock, New Mexico. After completing his Public Health Service Commitment, Dr. Duran received an Orthodontic Masters of Science in 1996 from the Ohio State University. In April of 1996 Dr. Duran took and passed the Phase III American Board of Orthodontics written Examination.
Dr. Duran has been in private practice as a highly regardedEnglewood orthodontistsince 1996. Dr. Duran is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and Metro Denver Dental Society. Dr. Duran frequently participates in continuing education courses and dental study clubs with his peers to keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in the field of orthodontics. Dr. Durans top priorities are to ensure that each and every one of his patients receive the most comprehensive, quality orthodontic treatment available, in addition toaffordable braces. Dedicated to helping children with special needs, Dr. Duran has also been a distinguished member of the Diagnostic Team at the Rose Medical Center Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Center in Denver, Colorado since 1996.
