With more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Robert Shapiro treats patients of all ages who want to smile with confidence. He attended the University of Toronto where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1986. He practiced dentistry for 11 years before pursuing a graduate degree in orthodontics from St. Louis University in 1999.
Dr. Shapiro has a special interest in adult orthodontics and works with several of the areas restorative dentists to achieve optimal results for his patients, as he is a firm believer that a multidisciplinary approach is often the best one.
New orthodontic techniques and appliances can greatly reduce discomfort, decrease the frequency of visits, and shorten treatment time. As an alternative to bulky metal braces, Dr. Shapiro offers translucent ceramic braces and the Invisalign system, which straightens teeth using a series of clear, customized, removable appliances called aligners.
Dr. Shapiro stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthodontics by holding memberships in many professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity. He also serves as a Board Member of the Greater St. Louis Dental Society.
Lisa M. Seim, DDS, MS grew up in St. Charles, Missouri. She attended and completed her orthodontic residency at Saint Louis University. She became interested in orthodontics when she had braces as a teen. As an orthodontist, she loves getting to know her patients and watching them transform and gain self-confidence, just like she did.

I love Dr. Shapiro's team. They are so nice and professional. They take time with you and you can tell they really put the effort into their work. I got my braces with them 20 years ago and now I'm back with my son. I definitely would recommend them!

From traditional brace to Invisalign ,we had great experience throughout the process for the pass few years. Dr.Shapiro and his staff have been very professional and caring towards our family with schedule to any issues that we had with the braces. Very well run office!!!

These guys are the best nice, respectful and upbeat! I needed a replacement retainer and got it the same day within 15 minutes! I was surprised! It was good to see those who helped me years ago! I will not go anywhere else! Go Get The Smile You Want!

No matter which orthodontic specialist you get they always know what they are doing. The entire practice is never behind as long as you arrive on time. Very satisfied with the results and I would highly recommend.
