Dr. Blankenship is an Orthodontist who has practiced Dentistry for over 21 years. The quality and compassionate care you have come to expect from him and the office remains the central focus of the practice. We treat all types of orthodontic complexities using braces and Invisalign. Dr. Blankenship has trained in a full Invisalign Fellowship and can take care of you and your childrens needs.
Dr. Blankenship along with his wife April and daughters McKenna and Gionna have moved to Palm Coast. He has three other children who have graduated and moved along in life. He attended The Ohio State University where he earned a Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Microbiology, and continued to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, so he is definitely a Buckeye fan at heart! He completed his orthodontic training at the Georgia School of Orthodontics. Dr. Blankenship is also a retired officer (Commander) in the US Navy having served 25 years of active and reserve duty. He served in roles as a dentist and in leadership as a clinic director.
Dr. Blankenship has been active in the dental community since his professional start. He has earned several fellowships and accolades in dentistry. In 2019, he published an article on his newly developed technique using mini-screws and rapid palatal expansion and in 2021 he published an article involving caries prevalence associated with the use of Invisalign. Previously as a general dentist, his experience also included teaching about Sleep Apnea and Dentistry, as well as CAD/CAM dentistry. He was a highly advanced general dentist with over 2000 hours of continuing education. With his experience and professionalism, Dr. Blankenship can appropriately coordinate care with your general dentist and any other specialist involved. His main focus in the practice is the professional care and success of his patients.

After growing up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in the Pennsylvania Dutch country, Ive lived in Flagler County since 1999. My wife Jill and I have seven children, some of whom are now adults and some still live at home with us.
When Im not working, being with my family, including our Australian Shepherd, Mocha, is my priority. We have a cattle farm and I enjoy various projects associated with that. I also like fishing and hunting.

I meet with new patients and families, explain the orthodontic process, and assist with the initial exam. I also review treatment andfinancial options, including insurance, and answer everyones questions. In addition, I trouble-shoot insurance matters, handle accounts payable and receivable, and oversee day-to-day operations within the business office. Ive worked with Dr. Johnson and our team since 1999. We are supportive and caring of each other and our patients!
Im a Florida native, born and raised in Flagler County. My husband and I have been married more than 35 years and have two grown children and fourgrandchildren. When Im not spoiling them, I enjoy the beach, fishing, and being with extended family.

I am a chairside assistant: I workalongside Dr. Johnson on a range of orthodontic procedures. While helping him, Im also talking with our patient and making sure theyre comfortable in the chair. I started in the field in 1989 and joined Johnson Orthodontics in 2003. Dr. Johnson is a kind and giving doctor who encourages us to be positive and uplifting.
I grew up in Michigan and moved to Florida in 1990. I love the Florida weather! When I am not working, I like traveling and lots of outdoor activities, like bicycling and fishing. I especially enjoy the beach!
Before I became an employee, my daughter was a patient here. The atmosphere at Johnson Orthodontics is truly unmatched and I was very excited when an opportunity arose for me to join this wonderful team. I started my dental career as a dental assistant in 1990. After graduating from the University of Detroit Mercy, I worked as a dental hygienist until moving to Florida in 2005.
When it comes to orthodontic treatment (Braces, Invisalign), not all practices are equal. Our office has grown through referrals from current and former patients, and local dentists. We were in Palm Coast for vacation when my daughter had an emergency issue with her palette expander. Dr. Keith Blankenship took her in that day, communicated with our orthodontist from home and quickly got her comfortable again. Very friendly and warm practice!

Four of my children have received services and treatment there, and WE LOVE THE DOCTORS and the STAFF!! Not only do their teeth look great, but we truly feel like family every time we enter those doors! Dr. Blankenship is a great addition to the office!

Both my daughters have gotten braces here this year and I couldn't be more happy. The staff is amazing, very friendly and interested in you and your kids. They offer payment plans that are easy to pay online or by calling. They are also easy to get a hold of and set up appointments. When my other two girls are older and needing braces I know just where to go.

Three of our sons and one of our daughters have received treatments/braces here! We love everything about this office! Both doctors, the assistants, the office staff, and the atmosphere make it a 5-Star experience. We have always been treated with respect and love in the office. I would give this place 7 stars if I could!! My wife just got braces today, and the lead-up took a few other visits to make sure they had everything they needed to get it just right on the first try. They do an incredible job of making us feel like family! Everyone is cheerful, warm and welcoming from the first encounter and every subsequent one. We haven't had a single visit where my wife and I didn't talk with every person there before leaving. Our Orthodontist is Dr. Blankenship, but I'm sure Dr. Johnson is every bit as wonderful given the quality of the rest of the staff. When my wife was being taken for X-rays by Shelly, Martha took me back to the exam room. Instead of just the simple "here's your room, she'll be back shortly," she stayed and chatted with me for a while. My wife has never liked getting any sort of dental work done, but the entire staff goes out of their way to put you at ease and ensure your comfort. Every step of the way, it is obvious just how much they all genuinely care about their patients and want you to have a smile you can be confident and proud of! While my wife was getting the braces put on by Dr. Blankenship with Shelly helping, Yvonne (who also took pictures of my wife's mouth on a prior visit) came up just to pat her on the shoulder for comfort and to reassure her since my wife has anxiety and was nervous. I really can't say enough about how wonderful they all are and their dedication to each and every patient. Because braces are a long-term treatment, we will be going back frequently for check ups and adjustments. We can't wait for the next appointment!

My son loves Dr. Johnson and his staff. They are friendly and were very helpful in helping us figure out insurance and payments. My son is just starting out with his top braces and getting his bottom on soon. He does not dread going because everyone is kind and make sure he has little pain. Highly recommend Dr. Johnson Orthodontics.

From the moment we walked in the door the staff was friendly and really paid special attention to my eight year old son. Dr. Johnson took his time with us and explained things very clearly. His recommendation makes me feel very confidant in his ability and I wish some of my older kids had gone here when they needed an orthodontist.
