Born in Chicago, Dr. Terry A. Sellke is a native Illinoisian. His fervor for Illinois extends to his academic background - having graduated from the University of Illinois for his bachelors degree, for dental school, for his orthodontic training, and even for his masters degree.

It didnt end there! Dr. Sellke teaches orthodontics and has been a master's thesis advisor in the Department of Orthodontics for over 30 years. He holds the rank of professor, was co-director of the clinic and earned the Master Clinician title.

Dr. Sellke taught more than 20 local orthodontists how to straighten teeth. He lectures locally and internationally on clinical orthodontics as well as another one of his passions - applying business principles to the practice of orthodontics.

Dr. Sellke was elected to the American College of Dentists by his peers and has been a reviewer for the American Journal of Orthodontics for many years. He has published dozens of articles on orthodontics in professional journals worldwide. His text on the Bioprogressive Orthodontic Philosophy has been translated into four languages.

Dr. Sellke lives in Libertyville. His passions outside of orthodontics involve either the mountains or the beach. He loves golfing, skiing, snorkeling, sailing, and working. (He is a workaholic who loves orthodontics!) However, hes no good at tennis.

Im a native of Lancaster County, PA and I live in Grayslake with my husband, Rob and my two lovely daughters, Mya and Tara. You may see me on the side of the soccer field and basketball court supporting my girls.

Ive been a part of the team since I was 11 years old - when I got my own signature smile! Braces have come a long way since I was 11; we now have fun colors, shorter treatment times, and less discomfort, but its still fun!

Ive been with the team since 2011 but my daughter was a patient long before I came to work here. I love working with the wonderful staff and patients who make my job fun and exciting. My favorite part of my job is seeing our patients faces as they see themselves for the first time with their new smile!

I am a native of Hinsdale, IL, and currently live in Libertyville with my husband, Steve. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, visiting my daughter, traveling abroad, and reading.

I graduated from Swedish American Hospital as a radiation therapist in 1984 and received my Bachelor of Health Arts degree in 1990 from the College of St. Francis. After taking some time off from the health field to raise my children, I joined the team in 2004.Im currently the Smile Expert for the Grayslake office. Im also in charge of inventory and purchasing for all our offices and oversee our Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliance.

I have lived in the area since 1997 with my husband and three kids. I first discovered Orthodontic Specialists of Lake County as a mom and loved the friendly welcoming atmosphere. It was a perfect fit to be part of the OSOLC team.

I'm the office assistant for our Grayslake location. I love this job because it keeps me super busy and on my feet all day long. It's great working with such an amazing, helpful, and fun group. Plus, we get to make people happy everyday!

I had been taking my family to OSOLC for several years before joining the team in 2019. Im originally from Libertyville and since my husband was in the Navy, we have spent time in Virginia and San Diego.

I joined the OSOLC team in 2006. After owning my own business, I decided to return to the dental field where I previously had 10 years of experience. I first came to love OSOLC when my children were patients - and now enjoy being part of such a positive, professional team.

My husband and I live in Grayslake where we raised our four sons. In my free time, I enjoy being at the movies and watching plays. I also love going to the gym, spending time with family and friends - but I especially enjoy playing with my four grandkids.

I joined the team in 2013 and enjoy working with this great group of people. I also enjoy meeting new and familiar faces. I love seeing the transformation of our patients smiles and appreciate being part of their journey when they have completed treatment.

In my free time, I enjoy being with my husband, son and daughter, family, and friends. I love the outdoors and working on my garden, planting flowers, and doing yard work. I also like spending time at the pool, beach, parks, or any other recreational activity that I can do with my family while being able to enjoy the fresh air.

Ive lived in Gurnee for over 19 years with my husband and three kids. When Im not in one of our offices working, youll find me running around Gurnee! I ran in the last 14 Chicago Marathons. The training needed to cross the finish line is similar to seeing patients teeth transformed into beautiful smiles. Both take time and dedication to achieve the final goal.

I joined our team in 2018. I love the one-on-one interaction with patients while assisting them on their journey to a beautiful smile. I enjoy working in a happy and inviting environment with the doctors, my coworkers and our patients.

I joined the team in 2020. I have been working in the dental field since 2015 and have always been interested in orthodontics. OSOLC has always been an admirable practice that I am now very thankful to be a part of.

In my free time, I like to stay active by playing sports and going to the gym. I love spending time with my big family and enjoying home-cooked meals. I always look forward to weekend getaways and traveling with my friends.

Im a native of Chicago and currently live in Antioch with my husband, Steve. I enjoy warm vacations, spending time with my family and my grandchildren, walking, yoga, decorating, and entertaining. Im also involved in our Chamber of Commerce in Antioch.

I joined the team in 2004. I love the interaction with patients and parents. As a Smile Coordinator, I see patients come to our office for the first time and then get to see their smiles transform. I joined the team when I received my Certified Dental Assisting certificate in 1984 from the College of Lake County. Im currently a chairside assistant and quality team supervisor for OSOLC. I absolutely love working with our patients, educating them about their teeth and seeing the beautiful transformations that happen with orthodontics.

I have lived most of my life and raised my children in Lake County with my husband and we now live just over the border in Wisconsin. When Im not working, I enjoy reading, antiquing, and spending time with my family.
