The staff here is by far the greatest. Very reasonable price and 100% worth it. I've been wanting braces to fix my grill FOREVER. Now I'm finally getting the opportunity and I wouldn't have done it without the best of the best in ortho work. Thank you to everyone who made my visit smooth!

Had a great consultation. Customer service was amazing. I usually have anxiety when I go to dentist but I didn't have that feeling here. Thank you for taking care of me.

I love my orthodontist!!!!! Everyone is kind and informative. I'm almost done with treatment if I could just wear these pesky rubber bands. LOL 100% recommend coming here.

Great service along with great customer service! I'm always greeted with a smile from the front desk personnel. I would definitely recommend Orthodontic Specialists of Florida!

UPDATE: They now claim I owe them $800 because they attempted to bill my insurance on June of 2022 and it didn't go through because I didn't have insurance which I do. I ended my treatment with them in September of 2021. They asked me to provide proof of my insurance which I did. They failed to respond to my email with my insurance verification but did send me an email saying that I was being charged a $25 charge back fee because I had my bank refund me the $139 they took out of my account in June almost a year after I terminated my treatment with them. This is beyond ridiculous at this point. Please stay away from this office if possible. I initially started my treatment with them because they had more affordable rates and had 4.5 stars on Google. Most the the positive reviews were from years back and I think their management/team has changed since. They changed orthodontist 3 times while I was there for only a year. I don't think the new orthodontist even bothered reading my chart because she asked me what we were going to do with my teeth when she saw me. She had zero investment in my treatment and seemed surprised when I told her I scheduled my corrective jaw surgery. Her response was she should have made aware of this so she could properly prepare my teeth. If she has ever bothered looking at my charts and mouth, she would know that I already had my surgical hooks in and have been working myself up to the surgery for years. If I knew her name I would name drop her. I have been trying to get my records from them so I could continue my treatment elsewhere. I requested these records October 5. It is now November 22 and I am still yet to receive these records. I am unable to continue my treatment because of this and apparently it's not urgent for them.

Terrible & Lousy service . They are negligent & unprofessional Corporate scammers without proper management. They change the doctors every 6 months, no wonder .

We have been with this practice on Gate Parkway since February 2021. When we first started my daughter there the orthodontist and staff were very welcoming, gentle and had great communication. Fast forward, we are now on our 3rd orthodontist in that timeframe (they keep leaving), tons of new office staff and changes made. My daughter is young and they won't allow you with her, even though she has anxiety. They make your child wait in a separate waiting area away from you which just heightens my daughters anxiety. As my daughter said, while I wait for the orthodontist the assistant sat on her phone next to me and didn't even speak to me. They do not make people feel welcomed or comfortable. They also just flat don't call you back! I have asked for the office manager to call me on April 6th (almost two full weeks ago) I even have called 3 times since and left additional voicemails, guess what still not a call back. Terrible customer service, if you can avoid pouring your money into this practice I would avoid it at all cost.

There's so much personality from the front desk receptionist to the dentist, everyone is very nice and professional. I came 1 year ago to get braces and changed my mind due to the rude receptionist, the service was completely different than it is now. Looks like the place is under new management!!!

A little disappointed in this office now. I was told I was able to get my braces taken off last month, but because of the scheduling that day ( it was packed) I had to wait. (I waited for almost an HR for nothing to be done that day). I called today to see if they had a appt before next month to get my braces off sooner. No appt available that's not an issue. The problem is that it's so busy there that im just being told that's a 2 part appt!! The problem is people have to work and shouldn't have to go in and wait all day and have to come back there to pick up their retainer! I live nowhere near that office and have to work. And the lady on the phone just kept telling me that's how it's done, but I was never told this when it was scheduled.

Poor communication. Called specifically to clarify information and was given incorrect information. Difficult to get appointments. There is no reminder for appointments.

This place lacks professionalism, integrity, and most of all QUALITY work! Please choose elsewhere they have poor communication and never make good on their promises they are crooks!!!!!!

The company itself is pretty good. How this specific location is the problem. If you look at the older reviews that was with a previous orthodontist. They have recently switched over with a different ortho and different staff (some remain). Very unprofessional! My appointment was scheduled 6 weeks in advance. Literally on the day of my appointment 45 minutes before I received a call stating that they needed to reschedule my appointment to a different day. This made me completely upset because I took a flight and drove 4 hrs 30 mins just to make my appointment. So you could imagine my disappointment to hear that they started rescheduling people on the Friday prior to my Monday appointment, however they weren't able to get to me!!!!! If my appointment was on Monday, then why wasn't I called on Friday to ask me to reschedule??????. Otherwise I wouldn't have had to cut my vacation short just to make it to the appointment. I literally called their phone AT LEAST 150 times and still received no answer!!!!! I do not recommend this orthodontist specialist. The ONLY reason that I have to remain with this service is because they'll charge me $1500 just to get out of my contract. And that's basically half of my total bill. And a new orthodontist would have to restart my entire treatment with a new price. But I'm so upset that I'm actually considering paying this and getting a new orthodontist!

We were overcharged because the office did not submit the proper information to insurance. We have been trying to get the money refunded for almost 8 months and the issue has not been resolved. When we do get an actual person, they keep saying they need to check with the office manager. When I leave messages, nobody ever returns the calls.
