My experience here has been fantastic! When we moved here from New Jersey, my 3 kids all were in some phase of braces. OSOF welcomed us in , taking the time to evaluate each kids situation and moved forward appropriately with each. They even made the assessment that my youngest didnt need actual braces after having a palate expander for a couple years. Saving us thousands! The staff is nothing short of AMAZING in the way they deal with each personality, as one has extreme anxiety issues, as well as always returning phone calls, and accommodating our schedule. If there were more stars I would surely give them!

My husband and I have both been patients here for about 2 years with our braces journey and have always had a great experience with this team! Dr. Kelly is awesome and detailed and makes sure any questions/concerns are answered! Thank you all for everything from the both of us!

I just want to say, this guys review and every other one like it is spot on. Taylor Ryan 9 reviews*1 photo a year ago If you want to go to an office and be treated like your time is not valuable or business isn't appreciated, this is the place for you. Drove all the way there just to get told the appointment had to be rescheduled. Staff is rude and makes snide remarks. Find a different orthodontist you won't regret it I missed my appointment and had to wait 2 months to get back in, ok my fault. I waited the 2 months and then 2 days before my appointment was called to reschedule. I do work and (apparently my time is irrelevant to the staff) but they expect the it most flexibility from you because if I wasn't able to get in on the day they offered, I would then have to wait another 2 months to get in. They are the most inflexible medical office that I have ever experienced. Their excuse, we have so many patients and are short staffed. We'll why not stop being money hungry and keep taking new patients so you can actually focus on and give the customer service your current paying patients deserve. Also getting a hold of them is harder then trying to call a county office. It's a hit or miss if they will ever answer the phone and the voicemail says leave a message they will call back. I got a call back 2 days later. I'll attribute that to the over flow of excessive patients that they again cannot service properly. I'm disappointed to see how down hill this office has gone. This is my second time with braces and I chose to come back because of the great experience I had then. I was wrong, not the same and I'm looking forward to the day I get my braces off even more now so I don't have to deal with them anymore. Do not recommend.

Conflict of Interest

Office employee, Jenny Templeton, will unethically and illegally make decisions about your child's treatment plan without both financially responsible parents present. She will then act against your child's best interest by denying multiple request to have your child's records transferred, under the false pretense that she has the authority to dictate who has legal custody of your child. More importantly Orthodontist Specialist of Port Charlotte has no problem taking money from someone who is not the child's legal guardian and will then claim the person paying cannot request to have the child's records transferred even when the child no longer lives in the area! Beware of the fraudulent office staff and their shady business practices as they have put us in a position of needing to legal action to be taken against Orthodontist Specialist of Port Charlotte. Shame on them for hiring and allowing their staff (Jennifer Templeton) to negligently conduct business with a known conflict of interest between their office staff, patients and minor children unrelated to them.

Orthodontic Specialists of Florida really went above and beyond what's expected today. My son is new out of treatment and we lost his retainer. Orthodontic Specialists of Port Charlotte, Fl went above and beyond for my son refitting and making another retainer. I cannot thank the young woman that met us at the closed office, took the impression, and made the retainer all with a smile!!! What a relief, I cannot express our gratitude. We have always had personable, and exceptional service from Julie and the girls in the front. Thank you for caring!!!

I have both my kids with them and I can't say enough good things about them, they are always helpful, friendly and willing to assist you. They listen, they care and always have a warm smile and a warm welcoming greeting. I had my kids at another place and all I can say is that now that they are at orthodontic specialist of florida my kids are better cared for. I am happier with the results, and the treatment is going amazing. I love the results so far.

Accurate guesstimate on how long braces needed to be on. I can't say enough good things I didn't have a negative experience one time here. Best thing of all my son liked them too. Make your appointment today, you won't regret it!!!!

It's wonderful! Staff,work,cleaness, customer satisfaction is excellent. I just wish there were more after school hours appt.so kids cannot miss out on the education, even Saturday hours will help.

Staff is great, appointments are flexible. My son loves coming here and has no anxiety about the visits. His mouth is running ahead of schedule because he is good about what he eats and wearing his bands
