After studying Chemistry and Biology at Weber State University, Dr. Erickson attended Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. While in dental school, he earned multiple awards for research and presented his research at a number of international and national meetings. He also earned several other prestigious awards for his work with children, and his involvement with research, and fellow students.

Following dental school, Dr. Erickson served as Lieutenant Erickson, a Naval Dental Officer. He moved his family to Okinawa, Japan, where he treated Marines, Sailors, and their families for two years. He also served with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, where he served aboard the USS Essex and trained at the Jungle Warfare Training Center. He then served at Naval Dental Center San Diego, helping prepare Sailors for deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan. During his service in the Navy, Dr. Erickson received several awards and commendations.

Dr. Erickson then pursued his passion for orthodontics at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York. He took courses at Columbia University and completed his three-year residency in orthodontics in June of 2006.

As an active member of the local community and the dental community on the local and national level, Dr. Erickson serves on the board of the Doctors Volunteer Clinic, and has served as the president of the Dixie Dental Society, the Utah Association of Orthodontics, and currently serves on the Council of Scientific Affairs for the American Association of Orthodontics. He has been active with the American Association of Orthodontists, both in public affairs, and as a mentor to other orthodontists.

Dr. Erickson grew up in Clearfield, Utah, and spent summers working on a family farm in Star Valley, Wyoming. He and his wife Christine are foster parents and enjoy raising their six biological children and foster children in St. George. Though busy with community activities, Dr. Erickson likes to mountain bike, run, read, and spend time with his children.

Dr. Erickson often receives compliments on his ability to listen to and communicate well with patients. He does a marvelous job of helping people feel comfortable as he strives to fully understand each persons needs, works hard to make sure that those needs are met, and that their questions are answered. Patients can tell that he sincerely cares, and really enjoys what he does. He loves to have fun and laughter can often be heard throughout the clinic. Although he does have fun, Dr. Erickson takes orthodontics seriously. He is meticulous about getting your teeth just right and often gets compliments from dentists and patients about the quality of his work.

As we take the braces off a patient, we ask them what they liked best about their experience. Most often, the answer is the staff. Our staff is friendly, fun loving, and works hard to take care of our patients. Since they see our patients on a regular basis, they get to know each other well, and develop lasting relationships. Although the staff takes time to treat each person individually, they are well trained and treat patients efficiently. They try hard to not make you wait, and have great systems in place to get you on your way quickly. The staff works hard, enjoys what they do, and has an enjoyable time, but are also sensitive and are able to understand and fulfill their patients needs.

I love working with all of our wonderful patients and watching their teeth transform. Seeing the confident smiles on our patients is one of my favorite things about working here. I love the outdoors, photography, and playing the piano. Currently I am enjoying life with my husband and two beautiful daughters.

I love interacting with all of our AMAZING patients. I have lived in St. George my whole life, and am the oldest of four kids. I love spending time with my family, riding my horses, and doing just about anything outside.

I enjoy working with such an amazing staff! I am married and have two beautiful daughters. I love spending time with my family, traveling, reading, painting, biking, and doing new DIY projects around my house.

I have been able to gain so many friendships by getting to visit other offices in the area. For me, that makes doing business a real pleasure! I also enjoy being part of the team within our office. I married young and had eight children as I traveled all over the country with my husband who worked for the National Park Service. My children have been my biggest hobby, as was the cooking required to feed them all! I also love to read, write, make wreaths, and do needlework.

I have loved getting to know our incredible patients and their families. I grew up in Kanab, Utah where I enjoyed being a cheerleader all through high school. In my spare time I enjoy being with my family and watching Netflix.

I love working in the lab because it gives me a creative outlet. I also enjoy getting to know our patients and helping to create their beautiful smiles! I love interacting with all of our AMAZING patients. Ive lived in St. George my whole life. My husband Darren and I have four beautiful children. I love horseback riding, being with my family, and enjoying the natural beauty that surrounds this amazing town we live in.

I have worked for Orthodontic Specialists for 25 years! I love being part of an office with such a high quality of service as well as a friendly and inviting atmosphere. I grew up in the rural town of Genola in Utah County. Some of my hobbies are hiking, cycling, cooking, and reading. I met my husband, Todd, at SUU and we have five children. I love St. George and wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

I love my job here at Orthodontic Specialists. Watching patients teeth transform and seeing the confidence our patients gain is my favorite part. I also love creating relationships with each one of our patients. In my spare time, I like to snack, hang out with my friends, and most importantly take naps.

Helping others is one of my biggest passions, as well as spending time with my family. I was born and raised here in St. George. I love doing anything outdoors and love playing with my dogs, cats, and chickens!

I love getting to see and interact with our patients! Nothing makes me happier than to see how excited they areabout their transformation. I grew in the small town of Roosevelt, UT! My hobbies include spending time with my family, watching Netflix, and being outdoors. I enjoy trying new and different kinds of food and traveling as well!

Seeing people gain confidence in their smiles is my favorite thing about working here. The team works great together and I enjoy being a part of such an amazing staff. It is my pleasure working with all of the patients and seeing them achieve their best smiles.
