Dr Megha earned her Bachelors in Dental Surgery in India and upon completion, she moved to the United States to pursue her dreams. Her penchant for research led her to Masters in Public Health at East Tennessee State University. Thereafter, she attended the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at the University of California San Francisco. Her fervor to create beautiful smiles brought her to the Pacific-northwest where she completed her orthodontic residency and earned Masters of Science in Dentistry at the University of Washington, Seattle.
Dr Megha is a very warm and compassionate person and she loves interacting with her patients. She believes in providing her patients with the most advanced treatment options and strives to meet their unique needs.
Aligners are removable and virtually invisible, which means you can straighten your teeth without anyone knowing, and you can still eat and drink what you want. Also, you can brush and floss normally to maintain healthy gums and teeth, and there are no wires, metal or brackets to cause mouth abrasions.
A customized treatment plan will then be centered to meet your needs and lifestyle, with periodic check-ups scheduled every 8 to 10 weeks. Your orthodontist will also recommend daily tips to help you get the most out of your treatment.
But Invisalign isnt at all invasive. Each aligner is custom made for your comfort, using a patented multi layer material known as SmartTrack. SmartTrack has been clinically proven to increase tooth movement predictability by over 75 percent. Each aligner can be removed to eat, drink, brush and floss, allowing you an effective way of straightening your teeth without interfering with your life.
The average treatment time for Invisalign can take anywhere from approximately 6 up to 15 months. However, you may have entirely different needs. While aligners are changed every two weeks, the average number of aligners worn during a typical Invisalign treatment can be anywhere from 18 to 30.
In some cases, treatment can be comparable to the average cost of traditional braces. I'm quite impressed with the full braces treatment for my 11 year old daughter. My child has an over bite and I told Dr. Anand that I do not want any tooth extracted like another orthodontist recommended for a quick, easy fix. It would not be an option. It was for this reason, nice office and location that we chose Dr. Anand. Dr. Anand has done a great job on my younger daughter, and is right on the 2-year plan schedule. My 2 older kids went with another ortho and the treatments took 4-5 years with problems like TMJ and high sensitivity. My older daughter's teeth don't look pretty or perfect. I wish that my older kids had Dr. Anand treat them. You get what you pay for.

All my visits at Orthodontist Excellence have been very pleasant and the staff is always super friendly and welcoming. While getting braces as a 35+ year old male wasn't ideal, the team at Orthodontist Excellence made it a pleasant experience throughout. The team at Orthodontic Excellence are incredible, and have made my experience with Invisalign wonderful so far (it's been 14wks since my initial consultation). Confidence, renewed! My teeth were crooked and short. The orthodontist worked behind the scenes with the dentist to length the front four. She straightened them, and finished in the time allotted on the treatment plan. Recommend highly!

Friendly staff and extremely knowledgeable. I went in for my initial appt and everyone was kind and wanted to be there. The treatment coordinator helped answer all my questions regarding my treatment plan and what to expect. The orthodontist seemed like she has done this a thousand times and is very comfortable in providing the exact treatment details. It's also great that the orthodontist directly communicates with my dentist since I might not know what I'm talking about.
