I love serving a diverse community and creating smiles for everyone from children through teens, working professionals, and even grandparents. I was drawn to orthodontics becauseits the perfect combination of art and science, and allows me time to build connections with people. Because treatment takes place over several years, and I see patients about once a month, we are able to get to know each other.
Like other healthcare fields, orthodontics is changing at a fast pace. Advanced technologies, as well as revolutionary new modalities and materials, are constantly being developed. Taken together, these mean faster, more accurate diagnostics and treatment, and more incredible results. Patients deserve to be treated by a doctor who is current on these changes.
Every year I complete many hours of postgraduate courses, and consistently exceedthe minimum required continuing education hours. Through local, regional, and national sessions, along with lectures, seminars, and study ofrelevant journals, I ensure patients receive the highestquality of care. They deserve only the best!
I immigrated to the United States when I was 19 and have spent the majority of my adult life in the San Fernando Valley. Currently I live in the Encino area with my wife, Lucy, and our young son and daughter.
I love being an orthodontist. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, and the friendships that Ive built with my patients and their families are one in a million. It has always been my focus to make each patient feel at-home when they come to me for treatment and I work hard to give my patients the attention they deserve.
My education in dentistry and orthodontics has provided me with a strong foundation of knowledge and experience. Now, by regularly participating in continuing education, I am able to stay current on the latest technology and orthodontic treatments. My patients deserve the best, and continuing education allows me to provide them with more options and better results. I am a member of several professional associations that provide me with opportunities for continuing education.
I am truly blessed to live and work in such a wonderful community. I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families, and it is always such an honor to know that I have made a difference in so many of my patients lives. As an orthodontist, I really enjoy achieving beauty by harmonizing the natural features of a patients face with the existing dentition and occlusion, and helping patients attain a healthy and beautiful smile. What most excites me most is being able to gain the trust of my patients and building long-lasting relationships with them by learning about all the things that make my patients smile.
I attend continuing education courses in order to stay up-to-date with the latest developments and innovations in orthodontics, allowing me to provide the best possible orthodontic care to my patients. In addition to attending local and national conferences to learn about the latest advances and techniques in orthodontics, I also participate in Invisalign seminars to provide patients with a clear alternative to metal braces.

My son got his braces from them and within 3 weeks his bracket/wire came off 4 times! It is such an inconvenience since he has to skip his school and I have to take an off from my work apart from the discomfort that my son has to go through. We even pointed this out and still it keeps happening again and again. He had a different orthodontist before and this would not happen this frequently. I called their emergency line and Andy told me to wait till Monday to take an appointment! He couldn't provide me an email to escalate At this point I'm very frustrated with their services Edit: 10/29/2022 It's been a year and the wire has come off more than 15 times. Think about all the frustration and pain that we have to go through. A lot of times this has happened because they clipped the wire too short and it comes off. They don't respond on their emergency number. I would highly recommend going somewhere else.

I've researched other orthodontics and have attend the evaluation but there's no other place like this one!!! The whole experience so far has been better than I expected! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS ORTHODONTICS!

I would give a 0 if possible! We moved from out of state and were hunting for orthodontist. Chose them for a few reasons one of them being having an emergency service on weekends! Me has busted them 3 times in past 15 days for loose brackets that they have placed. We have to call off work and school to get it fixed. He is eating safe and easy food and following the procedures. My husband did ask them the reason of him getting his brackets loose so often they did not often acknowledge it. We are stuck with them. You have. Choice to not!

I am very grateful for Dr. Agopian's office for making my dream smile come true. The doctor and the staffs were amazingly helpful throughout the treatment. I thought my teeth were impossible to fix, but it wasn't the case for Dr. Agopian. I'm very satisfied with the result. Thank you so much!

The workers are so kind and helpful ! They are also very transparent with all of the payments and let you know exactly why you are paying that much they also help you understand why you need braces and if your in a tough financial situation they can help you come up with a payment plan that accommodates you .

I look into 3 clinics before I found OC smiles, I'm so relieved I didn't settle for any other, from our first visit we realized that we were on the right place, the facilities are premium, the staff is professional, polite and always making sure my son gets the proper care, if this is not enough, the price and payment plants are unbelievable, I give OC smiles !

Shoutout to all the doctors at this location I got refer to my dentist to this location and ever since I started coming here I been treated to the highest standards everyone is super nice and friendly and helpful and ever since I started coming here I been treated to the best standards I stopped coming when covid hit but then I came back to continue my treatment and I have felt safer coming here than going grocery shopping because they check your temperature everything is clean and safe and have you fill out a covid form , I'm thankful for this place and everyone that works here highly would recommend

Best orthodontist there is very sweet people that pay attention to you and make sure everything is running smoothly. I have had my braces for about a year now and my results are immaculate I can visibly see the change and it's great!! The dentist are sweet and there is free consiltations if you would like to go! 10 out of 10 recommend this place!
