Dr. Cauble, a South Carolina native, attended Clemson University and the Medical University of South Carolina. After receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine he continued his education at Emory in Atlanta. He returned from Georgia with a specialty in Orthodontics and his bride, Sheryl.
Dr. Cauble has been practicing Orthodontics since 1981. In addition to his extensive years of experience, he is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Associationof Orthodontists and the American Dental Association.

Uneven teeth may result in weak enamel, gum problems and jaw misalignment.
Braces exert a gentle pressure on teeth over time to straighten them. The two main components include the braces placed on the teeth and the arch wire that connects them. The brace is a specially-shaped metal affixed to each tooth and the arch wire is bent to reflect the bite that the patient should have after treatment. The wire threads through the braces and as the wire tries to return to its original shape, it applies pressure to move the teeth.
There have been some fantastic advances in modern orthodontics to make treatment more comfortable and quicker for patients. There are now smaller, smoother braces and gentler wires which provide a continuous small force over a long period of time rather than a strong force for only a short period. Typically there is some discomfort after the braces are first put on. Over the counter pain relievers and a soft foods diet will help alleviate this temporary discomfort.

My daughter went here because she had two teeth that never came down, they were stuck up in her gums. Dr Cauble pulled out some of her teeth to make room for those to come down and had chains attached to the teeth to pull them down with braces. After two years and over $7000.00 later those teeth didn't come down, he took the braces off and her mouth was a mess. He was going to leave those teeth and chains up in her gums. I took her to an oral surgeon to have her wisdom teeth out and he saw those teeth in her X-rays, he got extremely mad when I told him Cauble was leaving them there. He said they would eventually cause her problems, so he cut them out. He called Dr Cauble but he never attempted to fix her teeth but he definitely kept my money. Do not go here find someone better!!

There is always someone from there calling me and saying i have not paid in 2 months when i have my receipts showing that i did pay..they charged my account $35 when they never tried to take money out of it in the first place, also when i started paying in the beginning they would change the amount i would pay saying a different amount each time over the phone ...if you are looking for a good orthodontist try another place bc this orthodontist isn't worth it

Extremely rude. I haven't had really any progress done on my teeth and it's been 2 years. They are constantly complaining about the bills and let ecery customer know if you're behind. They treat every issue like it's the biggest inconvenience .

Horrible orthodontist, two of my sisters, a cousin and myself all have braces from Dr. Cauble. All 4 of us have had our teeth shift, I have had mine off for three years and still have to wear my retainer every single night, if I do not wear my retainer one night my teeth shift horribly, which should not happen after having my braces off for three years. He does not do the clear retainers, only wired. Anytime a bracket would break off he would get mad (even if it was not my fault) because it would cause me to keep the braces on for longer, as soon as you finish paying off the bill he will try to rip them off as soon as he can. I would not recommend

My best friend had treatment done here in our childhood and her teeth are still great so when it was time for me to make this investment, this was my first and only choice. They make it easy and affordable and Dr. Cauble has done amazing work on my very tough situation. I'm still in treatment but very happy with everything about this office. The staff is amazing.
