Dr. James M. OLeary is a lifelong resident of Waterford, Connecticut. Based upon his own experience with orthodontics at age 12 and seeing firsthand how straight teeth and a great smile contributed to increased self-esteem and confidence, he chose to pursue a career in orthodontics. He is a graduate of the Ohio State University and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA earning his DMD degree, Summa Cum Laude. Upon graduating from dental school, he went on to complete a comprehensive, 2-year orthodontic residency program at Tufts University. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. OLeary takes a personal and caring approach to orthodontic treatment, making your experience in our office something you can truly smile about! When hes not treating patients, Dr. OLeary enjoys spending time with his family, mountain biking, skiing, traveling and playing golf. He remains active in the local community, supporting the local schools and various charities.
Dr. Gregory Hack is a graduate of Brown University and the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. Following the completion of a general practice residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, Dr. Hack pursued his orthodontic specialty training at the University of Connecticut Health Center, studying with Dr. Charles Burstone, the world-renowned expert in the biomechanics of orthodontics. He joined Orthodontic Associates in 1991. Dr. Hack lives in Old Lyme where he has raised three children with his wife Barbara, a local physician. Dr. Hack is very engaged in a number of community Boards, and serves as President of the Old Lyme Rowing Association. The Hack family passion for rowing recently took them to the Rio Olympics, where they supported their son, who was stroke of the USA mens eight!

I personally was sold by the front desk personnel interaction she gained my confidence very professional. The doctor was nice and the staff that i interacted with. They are a little expensive but the fact that they were detailed even before I got my braces was a plus so I used them keep my fingers crossed that I made the right choice!

My son has had braces on now for almost 6 yrs & r coming off tomorrow!!! They have always been so wonderful(and we've been there quite a few times might I add). Always friendly, professional & never a wait time to get taken in. If he lost a brace or broken wire they always took him right in for fix. Great experience overall!!

OASECT has been wonderful in treating our daughter for her braces journey. If we had an issue with pain or loose wires, they got her in right away to ease her pain. They are always on time and super friendly! The ice cream treats and giveaways are a nice touch! We would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of an orthodontist!

This is hands down the best medical practice I have ever been too. Every single staff member is friendly and accommodating. The process of my sons braces from start to finish was an enjoyable experience. The office is inviting and they always have a little perk waiting for you. I will highly recommended this office to anyone. (Other practices take note.. their doin right somethin here :)

A few years ago my son needed braces and a family member suggested OASECT. I called they got me right in. They sat down and explained everything with me and my son on what was going to happen on the day he got his braces. Staff is excellent!!!! Great customer service anytime I had a question I called and they would get right back to me. Excellent place
