Karen S. Rogers, DMD, MS is a Greenville, South Carolina native. She received her undergraduate degree from Clemson University. She then attended the Medical University of South Carolina and earned her degree in dentistry. She then attended the University of Michigan and completed her residency in orthodontics and earned a masters degree.
Dr. Rogers has been practicing orthodontics in Greenville since 1994. She has served as the President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Greenville County Dental Society. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the Southern Association of Orthodontists and the South Carolina Dental Society. She has served as a member of the Craniofacial Anomalies and Cleft Palate Team in Greenville for the past 14 years.
Dr. Rogers is married and has two children. She is very involved in their school and is a member of Christ Church Episcopal Church. Her hobbies include gardening, reading and spending time with her family.
Brian Hamby, DMD is a Greenville native. He attended Wake Forest University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina and went on to practice general dentistry for two years as he pursued a residency in orthodontics. In July 2005, he completed his residency at the Childrens National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. This hospital-based program gave him extensive exposure to treating patients with special needs, including physical and mental disabilities and craniofacial abnormalities.
Dr. Hamby is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association and the Greenville Dental Society. He currently serves on the board of the South Carolina Orthodontic Association. Dr. Hamby actively participates in many continuing education courses to remain current in his orthodontic education. He is also a member of the Six Elements Society where he has had the opportunity to study under and teach with Dr. Lawrence F. Andrews, DDS, a world-renowned teacher and orthodontist.
Dr. Hamby is very excited to be practicing in his hometown. He lives near Cleveland Park with his wife, Laura, and their children, Seaton, Austin, Nielsen and Camille. He attends Downtown Presbyterian Church. In his free time, he loves to ride his bike, run, play with his children and travel.

We love Dr. Hamby so much! He has been such a gift for our child who has a sensory processing disorder. He is so patient, kind, and does his best to interact with our son. He takes extra time to let him get acclimated, and his staff REALLY goes above and beyond to make sure our visits are as successful as possible. It means a great deal for them to take the extra time and patience required to make our son comfortable...and it definitely diminishes MOM'S anxiety during the visit as well! Can't say enough good things about Dr. Hamby and his team!

Dr Hamby and his crew are wonderful with all three of my kids. They love going and getting different bands. From rainbow colors to school colors. My kids always walk out happy. They can't wait to see the end results. They are wonderful to work with. Until we see you again in June. lol keep up the good work over there. They are truly wonderful people with sweet voices. We had the best initial consultation with Dr. Hamby. From the first person we interacted to the last, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. They provided me with plenty of information and choices to help my decision about the best possible treatment for my son. Needless to say we are going back tomorrow to start my son's process. I highly recommend this practice.

I have been working with Stephanie on and off and finally made the decision to choose them. I reached my appt for my braces to be put on. I was excited, looking forward to getting this done so that I can get other work done. I have been through a lot to get this point. I check in but didn't realize I didn't have my card with me. I left it at home. We are all human and I was really hoping that they could be understanding. I was hoping that I can could get the braces on and come back that afternoon to pay for it. It was really disheartening to have to reschedule. I wish they could have worked with me. It makes question if I should return but in thinking about the bigger picture I have a good orthodontist to work with.
