Carolyn Friedman is a certified orthodontic assistant and has worked in orthodontics for over 35 years, working in all areas of the practice. She is currently the office manager and treatment coordinator.
She is the founder of Ortho Assist, a training program for orthodontic assistants, and is the author of Ortho Assist Library. She has recently introduced several new titles to her line of Ortho Assist Library software programs. Through her seminars and on-site sessions, she has successfully trained thousands of assistants.
Carolyn is a continuing education provider for the Florida Board of Dentistry. To increase referrals, she provides personalized educational programs in orthodontic offices for dentists and hygienist on orthodontic appliances and their care, including how to determine orthodontic problems at an early age so that treatment can begin when the opportunity is right, and the importance of orthodontists and dental professionals work together. From this personally-presented program, she developed Ortho Assist Referrals, a CD program for orthodontists to provide to their area referring, and potential referring, dentists.
