Ortho 99 Plus 1 was founded on the idea that everyone deserves a beautiful smile. Our goal is to provide family-friendly orthodontics, in a comfortable environment at an affordable price. We understand that life is busy and patients appreciate an office that is punctual and delivers comprehensive orthodontics with convenient office hours. Ortho 99 Plus 1 offers extended hours during the week and is open on Saturdays. Our mission is to make world-class treatment available to everyone.
We strive to be the most affordable and most convenient but our passion is reaching those in need. The 99 + 1 initiative is the core of our beliefs. For every 99 cases we complete, we donate 1 case to a child or adolescent in need. At Ortho 99 Plus 1, we believe that everyone deserves a beautiful smile, and we are committed to doing our part to make that happen.
Dr. McDaniel is a native Floridian, born in Jacksonville and raised in Orlando. He knew at a very young age that he wanted to become an Orthodontist. He attended Florida State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Chemical Science.
After graduating from FSU, Dr. McDaniel earned his Masters Degree in Biomedical Science at Barry University. His studies included gross anatomy, physiology and histology. He credits this intense masters program for helping to propel him toward the top of his dental class.
Dr. McDaniel then turned his focus toward achieving his lifelong goal of becoming an Orthodontist. He moved to Jacksonville, where he completed a Fellowship in Orthodontics and Orthodontic Research at Jacksonville University. In October 2019, he completed his Residency at Jacksonville University and earned his Certificate In Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and a Masters of Science in Dentistry degree.
Dr. McDaniel values time with family and friends. When not at work, Dr. McDaniel enjoys spending time with his wife Lauren, son Mason, and their goldendoodle, Samson. Dr. McDaniel can often be found outdoors, fishing, camping and going to the beach. He is a member of the church of Eleven 22, an avid golfer, FSU football fan and crossfitter.

Couldn't have been more grateful for my experience at the dental office, I'm usually afraid of dentist but Ms.Mikayla make it feel nothing less than home for me, she was amazing very comforting and reassuring despite my fear and made my experience so much smoother, KEEP HER AROUND. I will be returning %100.

Love The Employees As well as the affordable prices but unfortunately I had to stop going and in the process of looking for a new dentist Not really satisfied with the work Done on my teeth I see a lot of gaps and It's causing me to be very Insecure About My Smile .

I currently have 2 children at this facility. Initially the staff was decent. On my son's 6 month follow up I noticed he had a gap so I went in to speak about his plan and what to expect. The assistant that worked on his braces yesterday was a lady with a hightop fade. She had her hands in her pocket and asked me what was the problem. And that gesture alone set the tone for the entire visit. She seemed irritated and extremely aggressive for absolutely no reason. She was waving her hand around and talking down to my son. It made him embarrassed. Me a parent whom has never been to any ortho school asked any general question that would clarify what I should be expecting next. They acted like I was asking for classified information. Not looking forward to the next year and a half at this place if this is what I have to look forward to.

We absolutely LOVE coming to Ortho 99 Plus 1!! Dr. McDaniel and his entire staff are amazing! We always have a good time when we come in. Everyone is so hospitable, funny, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating! Plus the prices are unmatched! Best Orthodontist in Jax! If I could give a million star review I would!

Great experience for my daughter she got her top braces in October and her bottoms in November, my teeth have many spaces and I asked was I too old at 53 to get braces and was told " no you're not too old to get your smile you want" so my consult is Monday and I can't wait!

This place is absolutely amazing. The dentist his fiance and even the dog are awesome!! I went in hoping to fix these spaces in my mouth and he did just that the same day. The best part about it is that there is no down payment and it truly is $99/month. I would recommend anyone to go there. I am about to take my daughter next. The appointment was right on time. I can't give them enough stars I was truly impressed!! SN: the dog is so awesome and cute and I love that they have him there!!
