At Ortega Family Dentistry, we are not a large, corporate-owned, big-box dental office that has to meet quotas and sales goals. What we are is a small, tight-knit practice that treats our patients like family. We take the time to get to know our patients and work together to decide what treatment is best for their unique dental situations. With a wide array of available services and modern techniques, we provide excellent dentistry to patients of all ages, from toddlers to seniors, and everyone in between. Dr. Mariam was born in Florida, but was raised outside of the U.S. She returned to Florida in 2000 to attend Florida State University for her undergraduate degree before heading to the University of Florida for dental school. For her post-graduate residency, Dr. Mariam moved to Philadelphia, where she carried out her residency at Temple University. After receiving her Advanced Education in General Dentistry, she got married and purchased a dental practice in the suburbs of Philadelphia, but Florida was calling her.
Dr. Mariam returned to Jacksonville, where she currently resides with her husband and two children. When shes not in the office, youll find her reading, trying new recipes, spending time with her family outdoors.
Yvonne is from Jacksonville and currently lives in Baker County with her daughter and 2 fur babies. She has been in the dental field since 1998, and strives to make everyone feel welcome and at home while visiting Ortega Family Dental. She cares for our patients and truly loves when they leave the office with a confident smile. When she is not working she loves to spend time with her daughter, travel, and be outdoors as much as possible.
Connie grew up in Jacksonville, just down the street from Ortega Family Dental. She loves this area of town and her parents still reside nearby. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Florida State College at Jacksonville, and has worked here ever since. She feels honored to work in such a high-quality family dental practice with so many wonderful patients. When she's not at work, you can find her exercising, trying new recipes and spending time with family.
Born in Texas and raised in Florida, Roxanne has lived in the Jacksonville surrounding area most of her life. She began her dental journey in 2009, where she attended North Florida Institute and earned her Expanded Function Dental Assistant Certificate. Roxanne has many different skills, from chairside assisting and front office, to treatment plan coordination and insurance management. In her spare time, you can find her out in her monarch butterfly garden and spending time with her daughter, doing home projects and, last but not least, shopping! She has a passion to help and cant wait to meet you!

For your comfort, our office is cozy and inviting, complete with a beverage station, noise-cancelling headphones, and sedation options so you can sit back, relax, and leave our office with the smile of your dreams.
When patients book a teeth whitening treatment at Ortega Family Dental, 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Angels for Allison a non-profit that alleviates the financial burden of funeral costs associated with the loss of a child.
