Dr. Maddahi received his Master of Science in Microbiology in 1986. He completed his dental education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, graduating with a DMD degree in 1990. In recognition of his academic record and clinical skills while at Tufts dental school, he was elected to participate in an implant program to restore implants and was elected to be a member of the Andrew Bates Dental Research Society. After his graduation he attended a postdoctoral research fellowship in medicine at Harvard School of Medicine in 1992.
Dr. Maddahi has over 30 years of clinical experience and more than 20 years of teaching and research in the field of dentistry. He holds a part-time position as a General Dentist at the Cambridge Health Alliance Dental Clinics General Dentistry Residency program and is a part-time faculty member at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Department of Oral Health Policy and Epidemiology.
Dr. Maddahi believes that it is important to keep current with evolving techniques and materials, and therefore completes many hours of continuing education courses and research every year. These include gum treatments, oral surgeries, dental implants, dental crowns, root canal therapy and removable dentures, as well as cosmetic ceramic and veneer restorations to provide the most advanced techniques and treatment options for his patients.
Dr. Maddahi and his wife, Jilla, (our office manager) established Orris Dental in 2010. Dr. Maddahi loves dentistry, his excellent staff, and our wonderful patients. He also enjoys reading and nature.
Dr. Caleb Tam was born and raised in the Bay Area, California. He earned his BS in biology (2009) from the University of California, Davis, and his MS in biomedical engineering (2013) and DDS (2018) from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). During his time at UCSF, he received 4 Clinical and Research Excellence Day awards and has been presented with scholarships from the American Dental Association (ADA) Foundation, International/American Association for Dental Research (IADR/AADR), Colgate, Pierre Fauchard Academy, Academy of Osseointegration, and Academy of Dental Materials.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Tam completed a General Practice Residency through Harvard School of Dental Medicine/Cambridge Health Alliance (2019), where he has since remained on board and currently serves as Program Director. His primary academic/research interests include dental biomaterials, dental regenerative therapies, and the Oral Physician training model.
Dr. Tam also has a passion for outreach and education as he enjoys volunteering in his local community as well as serving as a mentor for future generations of dental professionals. He is currently involved with efforts such as the Healthy Smiles Project (Cambridge Health Alliance), African Community Health Initiatives (Boston), and Biomedical Careers Science Program (Harvard Medical School).
Dr. Aroni is a general dentist with postgraduate education on Craniofacial Pain at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (2011-2014). Dr. Aroni achieved his Master of Science in Dental Research with focuses on muscle activity, pain, and EMG. He also obtained his certificate on oral and maxillofacial radiology from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Dr. Aroni serves as an assistant professor in Department of Diagnostic Sciences, Craniofacial Pain Division, where he teaches undergraduate dental students and postgraduate dental residents. He also teaches at local and international orofacial pain and headache symposiums.
Dr. Aroni treats patients with facial pain, temporomandibular disorders, and sleep apnea (sleep disruption). His clinical research interests include facial pain and related headaches, fixed and removable oral orthotic devices, temporomandibular joint disease, and obstructive sleep apnea.

My family has been going to Orris Dental for the last 10 years or maybe even longer for all our dental needs. Dr Ali and his team are extremely meticulous and caring. The Hygienist Giovanna is very detailed oriented and takes immense pleasure in her work too. And last but not the least, the front office manager Jilla who always gives excellent service to us ! Our visits have always been very pleasant! We would never think of going elsewhere. I highly recommend Orris Dental clinic to anyone who wants excellent service for themselves and their family.

This is the most amazing dental office in the area. From calling to make the appointment to walking out the door, every part went smoothly. All the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, flexible and accommodating. Dr. Ali and his team are very kind, and caring. I couldn't ask for anything more. Highly recommended!

Dr. Maddahi and his wonderful staff (the entire Orris dental team) with their commitment to care and friendly atmosphere make all the difference! Dr. Maddahi and his assistants are very experienced and always explain producers in detail, making sure you are comfortable at every step - the patients' comfort and and well-being is at the center of everything that is done at Orris Dental. I have not seen this level of attentiveness at other dentists that I have been to previously and I am so thankful for Orris Dental. I am commuting from Nashua, NH and it is absolutely worth it!

I've been looking for a dentist in the Natick/Framingham area and so happy to have found Orris Dental! What a great staff and Dr. Mahadi Ali is so experienced and knowledgeable about dental care. Very organized and they give you print out of the service you received and pamphlets/folder with information. The dental student is also wonderful and took great care of cleaning my teeth. I recommend Orris Dental 100%

I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a Dental treatment to Opt Orris Dental. I loved every bit of it starting from the Receptionist- her politeness, the ambiance - so soothing, the cleanliness and the kindness of the staff. Dr Ali and her assistant, Honey did a wonderful work on my tooth. I can't believe it could have been so smooth and pain free, not sure why i always feared visiting a Dentist. I went with my kid who is 4 yr and i appreciate how the staff took really good care of him during my 2/3 hr of treatment. Thanks you Dr Ali for taking such good care of my teeth and his work i really admire everyday with my smile.

Dr. Allmaddahi, his wife Sheila and both of his assistants are some the best. Words can't describe how friendly all of them are to say the least. I just done root canal and filling, Dr. Allmaddahi is soooo precise, he gets the job done perfectly while his warmth ease u through the whole procedure,he's very calm and collected it made me feel fuzzy and warm and very comfortable if u know me, am someone who is so scared of dentists and I don't easily trust people, he is so trusting, he's so humble I felt embarrassed with his presence ....I came home feeling like a million dollar, I am very lucky to have found him I pray to god to give a long lasting life blessed one so he can always take care of me and my family.
