Miriam is a Tucson native who grew up on the east side. She attended Sahuaro high school before learning to become a dental assistant at Careington College. She brings over 6 years of dental assisting experience to OVDG. In Miriams free time she enjoys attending concerts in the greater Tucson and Phoenix area. Miriam loves to escape the heat and head up to Sedona where she enjoys hiking and spending time with family. She was recently engaged to her fiance Mike in the summer of 2021 while on a trip in Sedona. When Miriam is looking to relax after a busy day she enjoys winding down by watching crime documentaries on Netflix.

Jennifer is a native Tucson-an, born and raised. In fact, Jen has lived in Tucson her entire life and has watched the city transform in front of her eyes. Here, she married her husband Scott and raised her daughter Rachel Mae. Rachel recently graduated from the University of Arizona during the 2020 pandemic. Jen began working as a dental assistant in 1989 and now has over 30 years of experience in both the back and front office of the dental field. In her free time, she enjoys movies, walking her Siberian Husky Sasha, and taking care of her house, yard, and plants.

Betty is the Patient Care Coordinator at Oro Valley Dental Group and is one of the first friendly faces youll see when visiting us. She is originally from Florida where she grew up immersed in the dental field via her grandmother who has been a dentist since the 1960s! She eventually moved to Tucson in her youth and later attended the University of Arizona. She enjoys reading, traveling, and exploring, as well as spending time with her husband, Cordell, 4 year-old twinsSebastian and Vera, and baby Santiago.

Christian brings over 15 years of customer service expereience to the OVDG family. She originally hails from Boulder, Colorado but grew up in Northwest Tucson. She is married to her husband Steve and together they are busy raising their big, vivacious family which includes 4 kids (Gabe, Gavin, Aria, and Sam) and 2 fur babies! For fun, you can find Christian crafting, road-tripping, hiking, glamping, and traveling to the beach.

Tomasa is from Tucson and is one of OVDGs resident Dental Hygienists, bringing with her over 30 years of experience in the field. Her favorite part of being a hygienist is forming connections with her patients. She has been married for 35 years and is a mom to 3 beautiful children. In her free time, Tomasa enjoys spending time with family, knitting and cozying up to read a book while sipping on some coffee or tea.

Cindy is an Arizona native and has roughly 25 years experience in the Dental field, 4 years as a dental assistant and 20 years as a hygienist. Shes been married for 19 years and has 2 lovely daughters, ages 16 and 17. In her free time you can catch her watching softball and volleyball games, camping, and hunting, but most of all she loves spending time with her friends and family! Cindy strives to provide the most positive experience to all of our patients!

Jodene has lived in Tucson for over 45 years and has been a dental hygienist since 1999. She loves educating and building relationships with her patients, who become like family to her. Jodene is a mom of one daughter, who is currently attending the U of A, and always has 3-4 rescue dogs at a time!She loves any opportunity for a road trip, camping or over-seas travel. Jodene also enjoys baking sourdough bread and considers herself to be a stained glass hobbyist.

Kirsten is also on the long list of team members who grew up in the Oro Valley community. Kirsten and Dr. Ham are high school sweethearts who married in 2013. They recently welcomed their daughter, London, into the world in March of 2020. Kirsten enjoys exercising, hiking and spending time with her friends & family and two kitties, Blue & Bear! Kirsten enjoys decorating and fashion and uses that passion to make Oro Valley Dental Groupa welcoming and appealing destination for all our patients in the area.

Dr. Sean Ham is a Tucson native. He attendedIronwood Ridge High School and did his undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona. At the UofA, Dr. Ham completed his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and graduated Magna Cum Laude. While in undergrad Dr. Ham also played for the UofAs Club Ultimate Frisbee team, Sunburn.

Upon graduation he was accepted to the prestigious 3-year program at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. Dr. Ham graduated with honors and was awarded the Henry Sutro Award for Clinical Excellence. Both during and after dental school, Dr. Ham competed in the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL) as a professional frisbee player. He played for the San Jose Spiders and San Diego Growlers and in 2015 won the National Championship.

Dr. Ham attended dental school on a Health Services Collegiate Program Scholarship for the U.S. Navy and upon graduation commissioned as a United States Naval Dental Officer. He did additional training in the Navys credentialing program while serving at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, addressing the dental needs of marine recruits in Bootcamp. Dr. Ham finished out his time in the Navy as the Dental Department Head Afloat USS Tripoli LHA 7, where he served as the ships dentist for a nearly 1200-person crew.

Sean is married to his high school sweetheart, Kirsten, and they recently gave birth to a baby girl, London! They enjoy hiking together and love exploring the various mountain ranges in Tucson. Dr. Ryan Lacy dentist in Oro Valley, AZ, grew up down the street from Oro Valley Dental Group in the neighborhood of Copper Creek. While there, he attended the local schools of Wilson, Ironwood Ridge High School, and eventually attended the University of Arizona in Tucson. While at the University of Arizona he was involved in a variety of clubs, including the same ultimate frisbee team Dr. Sean Ham was a part of. After graduating from the University of Arizona he was accepted into The University of Colorados School of Dental Medicine in Denver, Colorado. There he spent the next 4 years of his life learning dentistry, enjoying snowboarding and marrying his high school sweetheart Alana Lacy. After completing school, Ryan and Alana returned to Arizona where Ryan began working as an associate at Canyon Lakes Dental in Mesa.

In his free time, Ryan enjoys outdoor sports such as snowboarding and hiking. When hes not participating in winter sports in the mountain, he enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee. Just like Sean, he has played for the professional Ultimate Frisbee team out of San Diego for the past 3 years, the San Diego Growlers. He has competed across the country, flying to various destinations to play Ultimate Frisbee in front of home crowds. Ryan is also an avid sports fan. During Ryans downtime, you can find him rooting for all Arizona sports teams, but especially the University of Arizonas Basketball team.

Finally, Ryan and Alana recently welcomed their first son into the world in November 2020, Asher. Ryan and Alana have been enjoying being new parents and are excited to raise Asher in the community that helped raise them. Dr. Ryan Lacy is very excited to give back to Oro Valley and connect with the residents that he has missed since leaving the area.

He transformed me from a self-conscious girl who never wanted to smile, to a confident person who cant stop smiling. Not only do I love the outcome, but I enjoyed the process. Dr. Lacy is very personable and made the time in the chair fly by. He is very trustworthy, and I knew that he was going to do whatever it took to make sure I loved my smile.
