Jon K. Ormson, DDS Dr. Jon K. Ormson was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. He completed his undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University. He then received his dental degree from UT Houstons School of Dentistry.
Dr. Ormson is married with 4 beautiful children that keep him happily busy outside of work. In his free time, Dr. Ormson enjoys Texas Tech football, fly-fishing, playing ice hockey, snowboarding, and wakeboarding or any other activity that allows him to spend time with his family.
Cynthia Schoenberg Office Manager Cynthia completed the Dental Assisting Program with Texas Academy of General Dentistry in 2010. She has been with our office since Oct. 2014 as our financial coordinator, providing in-depth support for our patients insurance and financial needs. Cynthia also evaluates specialized programs (such as insurances, CareCredit, and ANB), making sure our practice is in compliance with office policy. In addition, she handles a variety of other responsibilities in our office, including day-to-day operations and scheduling. Cynthia truly enjoys our patients and loves helping people.

Naomi, the dental hygienist here, is the most gentle, easy person who has ever worked on my teeth before. I will forever only want her for my cleanings. She makes the whole experience of going to the dentist, wonderful and painless.

I appreciate that Dr. Ormson has the knowledge of what's best for the patient's need at the time of service as well as a continuation in education to his assistant while he is doing the work. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone looking for a good dentist that applies himself for the patient and explaining why he uses this tool for an extract or why not to use that tool for an extract. It's like each service to educate not only himself but his assistants. Every tooth in our mouth has different work that needs to be done; no work is the same for our teeth whatever it may be. Thant's what I learned today while gettin a tooth pulled. Thanks Dr.Ormson much success to your business! God bless!!!

I spent over three months trying to find a dentist in Amarillo to do very extensive dental work on our 20yr old daughter that has Down syndrome. She is double covered and we kept having a hard time finding someone that accepts Medicaid. Thankfully we found Dr. Jon Ormson! He is an amazing dentist and does great dental work. Dr. Ormson & everyone in his dental office is very friendly too. I highly recommend him to all my family and friends.

Dr. Ormson was very helpful when I called about a toothache. They got me in quickly and too care of it. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Ormson Family Dental was very nice, very thorough, explained and showed pictures to make sure I understood everything. They had a good Covid-19 system set up so that things moved smoothly. I highly recommend them.
