Being a pediatric dentist means so much to me it is my chance to introduce dentistry to children in a fun, friendly way, ensuring that they always have a positive experience. There is nothing more rewarding than developing a lasting relationship while providing quality, gentle pediatric dental care. Its fulfilling to know I have a positive, life-long influence on a child, ensuring they are excited about caring for their smiles.
Ive always enjoyed interacting with infants, children, teens, adolescents, and those with special needs and treating them as I would my own. During each visit, I take time to talk with them about their life, their family and friends, and their adventures. I genuinely want to learn who they are and love how they share so much of their life with me. I find great joy in being part of a childs life and treasure the trust they place in me.
I was born in Colombia, South America. At the age of 12, my family and I moved to Boca Raton. I received a Bachelor of Science in biology and graduated magna cum laude from Florida Atlantic University. I decided to pursue my interest in dentistry and received my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University-College of Dental Medicine.
I was awarded the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry's Certificate of Merit Award for my involvement in and passion for pediatric dentistry, and was inducted into OKU, the dental honor society. I completed my pediatric dentistry residency at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center, where I served as chief resident during my finalyear.
Education is a vital aspect of my role as a pediatric dentist, both for my patients andfor my team and me. My team and I often go to schools around our community to teach children the importance oforal health in a way that makes it fun and easy to understand.
I believe my young patients and their parents deserve a pediatric dentist whos uptodate with new treatments and technology. I attend courses throughout the year to learn new techniques and developments in the rapidly advancing field of pediatric dentistry. I feel it is my duty to incorporate the best and most useful products and materials into my practice in order to improve my patients experience.
My wife Crystal and I live in Baldwin Park along with our two children, Aurora and Luca. I love spending time with my family, whether we are going to Disney World or just visiting parks around our neighborhood.

Orlando Pediatric Dentistry has been operating in the Baldwin Park neighborhood since 2006. Dr. Javier is a board-certified pediatric dentist, which means our practice is limited to the special care of children and adolescents. The doctorand our team have specific training in the unique oral healthcare needs of young people, including preventinggum disease, restoring teeth, and providing preventive education.
In addition to providing routine dental care and treatment, we use nitrous oxide, IV sedation, andgeneral anesthesia. Dr. Javier can also provide dental treatment in a hospital setting for children who cannot be treated in the office using nitrous oxide and/or IV sedation. The doctor has privileges at Florida Hospital and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

Just wow!!! Truly an amazing experience especially when the staff and DR.JAVIER GIRARDOT took the time with my daughter who is autistic with other needs. Made her and my experience amazing. I wish there were more stars to give because they deserve it. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I am confused about the 5-star review here. On Yelp, it's 3 stars and the reviews I read pretty much matches my experience. 1. Dr. J has great skills. 2. Dr. J has been sabotaged by his management team (or he has been sabotaged by himself.) Staff don't even pretend to be caring. They don't know how to handle your dental insurance properly and correctly. Dr. J doesn't expect you to use your insurance because for him, insurance policies are so complicated and changing all the time that he simply prefer you to pay directly to him without using your insurance. In conclusion, it's a more business driven office than a service one.

Dr. J is awesome! He is very patient, kind, and caring. We've been going to this office since my daughter was 2 years old. We moved to the Clermont area and I refuse to find another pediatric dentist. The hygienists are also very pleasant. I appreciate all their hard work making my daughter feel as comfortable as possible for a rather scary office visit.

Not sure how this business has this many 5 star reviews. We will spare naming the actual person who answered the phone, but when simply trying to get info about an initial consultation, our questions were not welcomed. We were given a range ($200-$280), but she could not inform us if upper and lower occlusal X-rays are included, nor would she transfer me to someone who could inform. She took exception to the question/s and rather than finding the answer, she got upset and chose to rush to try and make an appointment. We chose to end the call.

My son is a mild special needs patient that needs multiple teeth pulled as we have been dealing with his problems eating for years. Twice now they have cancelled my son's somewhat complicated oral surgery. We live over an hour away and this has made an uncomfortable situation unbearable. We were told last time it was due to not confirming the appointment. We left a message the day before and the day of trying to confirm it!

Everyone is so nice and welcoming every time we come visit! My son has ASD and Dr. Javier and his staff are so patient with him and so wonderful every appointment we come too! The ladies in the front desk are amazing too! So Welcoming and they remember us every time! Thank you for always being nice and doing awesome with my son. Also, I drive about 40 mins to this office just for good service and good staff! It is worth the drive, Thanks!

Dr J and the entire staff are amazing ! Our boys ages 7 & 8 have been coming here since they had teeth lol - and love coming to the dentist. Whether for a routine checkup or a procedure our experience has always been top notch! Not only is Dr J Girardot an amazing dentist, he is just a natural with children and it is so apparent how much he truly cares. He puts his tiny patients and parents at ease!
