I can't say enough wonderful things about this office! From check in to check out, everyone was so pleasant and helpful. I spent 15 minutes with Dr Whitman and he was personable, professional and made me feel very at ease about my upcoming procedure. I have some anxiety surrounding anything dental related but didn't even have a hint of it during this appointment. Dr. Whitman truly listened to me and created a solid plan for me, something that I am actually excited about happening so I can finally get some relief! I would recommend him and his staff to anyone needing oral surgery!!

Dr. Whitman was reassuring and put me at ease. His staff is also professional and always polite and answer all your questions. Fifteen years ago Dr. Whitman also retracted a tooth. He's absolutely the best!!! Thanks to everyone I had contact with!!

I have been to Dr. Whitman twice, for all 4 wisdom eeth and for an exposure. Both times were AMAZING. Staff is nice and he even checks up on you at home personally via text.

Dr Whitman made me feel safe and secure. Not an easy task in dealing with a dental phobic like me! I had a complex extraction with sedation and after he started the IV I felt and knew nothing. I healed quickly and with very little pain. Highly recommend this practice and this Oral Surgeon.

Absolutely wonderful staff and Dr. Whitman has an incredible bedside manner. I came late from arriving at the wrong location 1st and they still worked me in! I was very nervous and didn't pay attention to the GPS directing me to the wrong office. Dr. Whitman was full of jokes and made me feel totally at ease, and his nurse was super sweet (really wish i had caught her name) and said she would stay with me the while time. When I was done they had already provided my family with post op documentation and had him ready with the car. I will be having a jaw surgery with Dr Whitman in about 6mths and am so happy with this group and Dr. 100% confidence in every way!!

The entire staff was very personable, friendly and patient. We saw Dr. Whitman for a consultation for my granddaughters wisdom teeth extractions. She and I were both very informed and comfortable with the upcoming procedure that we booked with him. Dr. Whitman is definitely informative, kind and a bit funny. My entire family is moving to his practice.

So I'll start this off by saying I have a massive paranoia of blood and hospital/surgery related things. I had to have 6 teeth removed and was very anxious to be put to sleep. Dr. Whitman and His amazing team really helped to sooth the anxiety and get the job done quick easy and just about as painless as I'd hoped. I'd go as far to say the team helped get over my fear quite a bit, I don't think I'll be feeling as anxious next time around. So not only did I walk out with my wisdom and two of my broken molars removed, I also took a step forward towards my fear. Stellar Job from the crew and I will be seeing them again in the future! Honestly couldn't have asked for a more seemless operation, thank you so much!

I was told a month ahead of time that my insurance covered most of my bill and I will only have to cover $523, I was also told that I would have a free consultation but after a month I received a bill saying I owe them for a consultation, I've never had to pay for a consultation to just get a look at my teeth to see what's going on.

Dr. Whitman and staff in the Lake Mary office were so nice. When I called in so much pain they got me in for exam the same day. My husband also went here for full mouth extraction and they got him very quickly and was great then also. I highly recommend Dr. Whitman in the Lake Mary office

Staff was friendly and answered all questions with patience. They were able to get my husband in for surgery a few weeks after his consultation. It was either that day or wait another month. The office was super busy with back-to-back surgeries, but staff still made sure to handle any concerns we had. The doctor even sent him a text to check in on him the night after his surgery.

Dr Whitman and his nurses were amazing...showed me so much empathy. Went in as a emergency work in for an abscessed wisdom tooth with a pain level of 20!! and Dr Whitman was able to get me out total time for the entire visit 45 mins!!! I feel so much better tonight I've been able to sleep and eat something I was not able to do for a couple days... I would definitely recommend his practice to anyone. Thank you Dr Whitman!!!!!

I have mixed feelings about this place. I will start off with the PROs Pros: I was extremely nervous due to prior experiences else where. Dr. Whitman was very kind and patient. He made me feel very comfortable and was really kind. The office is very clean and inviting. The upfront staff is nice. Cons: when I woke up from my surgery, I started to cry a little. I don't really know why, I guess that was just how my body reacted to the anesthesia. I was just slightly crying. Nothing outrageous. The nurse that was in the room told me to be quiet so I "wouldn't scare the other patients" I'm assuming she thought I wouldn't remember, well I do and it was extremely unprofessional. Fast forward about the second day after surgery I received a text message asking how I was doing. I mentioned my concerns and never received a message back. I dropped it. Fast forward a few days and I had a concern at about 10 pm so I called the on call doctor and I left a message on the "doctors personal number" like my paperwork said to do with concerns outside of operation hours. The on call doctor was very dismissive, and quite unhelpful and rude. My husband had to call him back and drill for answers because I got no where. This was a Saturday. I was expecting a call at least by Monday maybe checking to see how I was. Yet I received nothing. No call back, no text. Nothing. It seems like a lack of professionalism in my opinion. I have never been somewhere that doesn't check on you after call the after care number. Like literally ever. It's quite a shame honestly because the Doctor is quite awesome, and honestly he's the only reason why I gave a 4*.
