Christopher M. Spelman, DDS Dr. Christopher Spelman majored in biology at Rutgers University and then completed his dental education at The University of Maryland, graduating in 2001. Immediately after graduation, Dr. Spelman joined Orlando Family Dentistry where he has been practicing ever since. He is an active member in the Bucks County Mini-Residency and the Academy of General Dentistry, and takes numerous other continuing education courses each year. He has advanced training in early-treatment orthodontics, implants (surgical placement and restoration), endodontics (root canal therapy) and sleep apnea. Dr. Spelmans goal as a dentist is to help people achieve optimal oral health by providing expert dental care in the most painless way possible.
Dr. Spelman and his wife, Jamie who also works in the practice, have two children. When not in the office, Dr. Spelman enjoys family activities, hunting, fishing, camping and exercising. He is also very involved in his church.
John Joseph Orlando, DMD Dr. John Orlando earned his bachelors degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and continued into their dental program, graduating in 1975. He is a member of the Bucks County Mini-Residency and is active in several other continuing education courses throughout the year. Dr. Orlando has extensive training in surgical and restorative implant placement. His goal as a dentist is to treat people the way he would want to be treated. Dr. Orlando is proud to have served his patients for the past forty years at the same location in Hopewell, NJ. He is married with three children. Besides being a dentist, Dr. Orlando is an avid pilot, skier, hiker and outdoorsman.

Just went for my cleaning and check up this past week. Dr. Spelman, as always, was thorough and caring. As a child I was taken to a dentist who didn't believe in novocaine, and as an adult, I still had nervous reactions in response to dental visits. Dr. Spelman's bedside manor is so kind and understanding that I no longer have these reactions. Amazing! In the last 10 years I have called at least three or four times with emergency situations: broken tooth, oral surgeons implant dysfunction, cracked tooth, etc. Every time Dr. Spelman fit me in quickly or talked me through how to create a temporary fix until I could get to him. Love him! Awesome dentist!!

Dr. Spellman is the best dentist ever! I've never met a dentist so patient and gentle. He has helped my whole family and treats us like family. And I think the most important is Dr. Spellman never lets his pride or ego get in his way. Had some cavities filled at a different dentist (Hopewell Crossing) and every one of the fillings fell out within days. After getting them all redone, a few of the redo's came loose a second time! I decided to try another dentist (Sophisticated Smiles) who said my teeth couldn't hold fillings and I would need 8-10 crowns at a cost of $15,000. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion from Dr. Orlando's office. A very pleasant Dr. Spelman examined and took some x-rays and said no crowns are needed fillings will work just fine! He painlessly replaced all the fillings that had fallen out; and 8 months later they are still working perfectly. Nice location, excellent staff, and great dentistry makes for a pleasant visit everytime!
