When I was in dental school, my younger sister said she'd been told she needed a filling on a back tooth. This sounded promising for my board exams so she traveled hours to come get screened at my dental school in Illinois. I couldn't find any cavities, so I had two other students look before finally asking multiple attendings if I was missing something. I was not. There was no decay. I told my sister not to get this filling, but she wanted to be a dentist as well and wanted to shadow at this office. Why she wanted to shadow a dentist that couldn't diagnose a cavity is beyond me, but she got the filling. When I saw the x-ray, I was disgusted by how poorly done it was. The proximal box was poorly shaped, the majority of the restorative material was still in enamel, and to the surprise of no one, it broke quickly and had to be fixed. Fillings need replacement every so often and every time you replace a filling, you lose more tooth structure. There was literally nothing wrong with this tooth. Now there is. I've also seen some comments made by at least one of the dentists here on professional-oriented forums regarding approaches to treatment and was disturbed by the lack of thought behind the couple of responses I saw. Not seeing a patient of record who needs a root canal for pain purely because of the pandemic when standard of care dictates the patient would be wearing a dental dam (thereby actually making it one of the most covid friendly procedures for a dentist) seems like a callous and thoughtless position, but what do I know as another dentist who did a lot of root canals during the pandemic and have yet to become infected with covid? I wanted to think positively of them as another female dentist. After all, they have the cutest dental office (from the outside anyway) and are a sister dental practice like my own sister and I are working toward. However, once you needlessly screw up my sibling's mouth to make a buck we're gonna have a problem.

It is totally beyond comprehension that a patients Covid concerns leads these doctors to drop them as a patient. My family member had concerns regarding visits during the height of the pandemic, following established guidelines as set forth by the CDC. After delaying a scheduled appointment due to the concerns we all had, they were dropped from the patient list permanently. Totally unprofessional and unwarranted. Will never recommend these two again.

I avoided dentists for 13 years. After reading reviews, I decided to try Orlando Family Dentistry. Dr. Maria was so kind and gentle. She did not shame me and showed so much compassion. The entire staff is friendly, compassionate and does everything to make your visit a positive experience.

My husband and I see Dr. Maria Orlando. She, as well as the entire office staff, are very caring and friendly. A while back, I was having trouble with a tooth a few days before we were leaving for vacation. Dr. Orlando's office got me in right away and was able to temporarily help me with my problem so I could enjoy my vacation. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a dentist to consider this office.

Excellent dentist and staff! Dr. Carla goes above and beyond to provide excellent dentistry service. Dr. Carla and Jodie and very good with keeping me at ease throughout my visits. I feel very comfortable and welcomed at Orlando Dentistry. Also, top level care and up to date dentistry procedures are superior. I highly recommend for anyone who may be nervous about going to the dentist. Also, amazing and caring office staff!!!

Dr. Carla is very knowledgeable and thorough. Always friendly. Elyse the hygienist is super nice and friendly. Again very knowledgeable and gentile on the teeth, but did a really good cleaning. Been going to Orlando family Dentistry for several years. Always happy nice staff too!

Visited the Orlando office for my first time today - everyone I interacted with was very nice, the office is clean and bright, and they listened to my concerns and presented me with options to help resolve my tooth sensitivity concerns. Would definitely recommend you check them out!

I broke off a piece of a tooth. I called, they got me in right away and they fixed it within a half hour and I was on my way again! Totally satisfied. Everyone in the office and staff as well as Dr. Maria are very friendly! My dentist is Dr. Carla and she wasn't there today but she is a sweetheart too!

Very friendly staff. I have an extreme fear of the dentist but i make every dentist appt here no matter what procedure may be. I find the staff to be kind including the doctors. I would definitely recommend them

Great staff and facility and they are always staying up to date in latest procedures and equipment. Dr. Carla has been a wonderful dentist for me for the past 12 years. I have recommended them to all my friends needing a new dentist.
