Dr. Connor Van was raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and has resided in Florida since 1994. Dr. Van is the youngest of 8 children. Raised by a set of parents who believe hard work and a genuine heart are the keys to lifelong success, Dr. Van strives to accomplish just so.
Dr. Van received his Bachelors of Science degree in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida. After his undergraduate studies, Dr. Van pursued a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (D.M.D) from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts.
During both terms of his studies, Dr. Van was recognized for his academic achievements via the Deans List. During and at the completion of his clinical training, Dr. Van was recognized, earning several certifications for clinical excellence. Dr. Van was selected for advance dental training via honors programs in Implant Dentistry, Aesthetics, and Periodontology. Dr. Van also served as a teaching assistant in the Department of Comprehensive Care and the Department of Continuing Education. Dr. Van is a proud Dr. Alfred Osher Scholar.
Aside from general dentistry, Dr. Van has also studied as a clinical researcher in the field of nephrology, diabetes, and cardiovascular surgery. Dr. Van has published several studies while conducting clinical research at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL.
Dr. Van strives to incorporate both his academic and aesthetics-oriented background into his dentistry. He continues to study extensively in all aspects of dentistry, as he believes cutting-edge, up-to-date knowledge, is his best tool for offering patients optimal care. Dr. Van regularly attends continuing education courses around the country in order to expand his clinical skillset and challenge himself as a dental practitioner.
In his free time, Dr. Van enjoys hanging out at the beach, playing basketball, hiking, camping, cooking, and fishing. Dr. Van also enjoys community service; focusing his efforts on serving areas with major health disparities.

I highly recommend Dr Connor Van and his staff. He did an excellent job on my dental procedure and the front staff and assistants are all very nice too . The office is super clean as well which is important . I will definitely be getting any dental work I need done at Ashley Park Dental.

The VA has a long wait time for appointments so I opted to use Community Care, Dr. Van was highly recommended by my VA dentist. Dr Van is very knowledgeable and his dental treatments have been excellent. I tell all of my friends about him. His staff takes good care of me too.

New pt: First time here and we had a great experience. My husband was in severe oral pain and needed an extraction not only were they accommodating, and empathetic. His extraction was completed with great precision. Professional efforts all around. We will be returning and scheduled an appt in September for further dental work. Educated on pain management and Abt Tx. Thank you Dr. Conner and staff. We really appreciate it.

Wow what an intro to this office. My boyfriend and I had scheduled new patient visits for 9am. At 700am we were dealing with a kitten trapped in our garage. We finally found it in our engine at exactly 9am. My BF unfortunately had been calling the # back from the automated text until I googled the # thinking why wouldn't an office answer for over an hour? They could have declined us to come in but they allowed us to come in at 930. ( after putting the kitten in our bathroom) The office is very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are tvs mounted on the ceiling to take your mind off the work being done in your mouth. Unfortunately, in the middle of my cleaning I got an email telling me if the kitten was under four weeks old it could easily die without the mother's stimulation to go to the bathroom from the food we had given it. I had to get up & go literally in the middle of my appointment. I had a brief conversation with the doc who could have been annoyed I was late and now leaving early?? Instead he was so sweet & understanding. I told him once we got the kitten taken care of I would call to come back later that day. When we arrived back home with our new kitten - we walked in to a nightmare with a septic/plumbing backup & literally could not get the water shut off in our house until the Water Company came out and turned it off from the street. What a day! Anyway - YES, great doctor! & yes!! We kept the cat!!

Cannot say enough great things about this place! My wife is extra anxious around doctors and needed a lot of dental work, and they took the best possible care of her. They made her feel as comfortable as possible and made sure to keep checking in to make sure she was doing ok. Dr. Van is very knowledgeable, efficient and kind. I ended up booking myself an appointment after everything was done, and would recommend everyone else do the same!

Recently I learned I had a cavity in my front tooth underneath an old veneer. It was a tough cavity to fill. After a while of drilling, due to my extreme fear of the dentist, I could not stay numb. Dr. Vann was so patient. He put a temp on my front tooth and scheduled me to come back to finish. He saw too much trauma in me to keep going. I'm sorry to all the patients after me because that took extra time and I knew I threw his schedule off for the rest of the day. He did not rush, and took time to calm me down. When I went back for the next visit everything was painless and flawless. On the final visit, the crown on my front tooth was sheer perfection. The color was perfect and it was even and comfortable. There's more. My teeth seemed to have shifted over the years. Out of concern for my new crown, Dr. Vann made a retainer for me to keep my teeth straight. Again, going above and beyond. He is awesome, patient, and caring. He also doesn't try to upsell you. I asked him about an old crown that I wanted replaced. He advised that I leave it alone, as we don't know what we will find. If it is not bothering me (and he had x-rays), leave it alone. He could have easily made $4000 on a cosmetic issue. For that I am grateful.
