Dr. John J. Park is a General Dentist who graduated from Loma Linda University in 1993 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. In the fall of 1995, he traveled to Moscow, Russia with his wife Sandy to serve as the dental director of the Adventist Health Clinic.
After returning to California, he and his wife were blessed with the birth of their first child, Corynna. He then chose to relocate to Eugene, Oregon in order to raise his family in a smaller, more family-oriented community. After practicing in the Eugene area for over five years as part of a group practice (and adding two more children, Conner and Caitlyn, to the fold), he decided to open his own solo practice in April of 2003.

Dr. Park enjoys all areas of general practice, especially the cosmetic side of dentistry. He is known and well-liked for his gentle touch and calm demeanor. At Oregon Family Dental it is our desire to provide you with the highest level of quality, gentle, dental care. It is very important that our patients feel right at home in our office, after all, we are a family-operated practice and consider our patients an extension of our family.

I have had a ton of issues in the past with dental offices due to my unreasonable fear of the dentist. I've always been pushed around when it comes to what I need to be comfortable but at this office they go above and beyond. They take my fear and anxiety seriously and treat me like a friend and their actions show that they really do care!! I highly recommend this office to anyone who needs a dentist and staff that will go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable.

I always feel so welcomed here. They're super accommodating as well. They answer any questions I have without making me feel bad for not knowing. So thankful to have them as my dentist!!

I felt very cared for in my first appointment at Oregon Family Dental PC. From the kind greetings from the office staff, to the careful x-ray procedure, as well as the thorough exam by Dr Park, followed by the detailed teeth cleaning by the hygienist...it was such a pleasant experience! I highly recommend them!

I wanted to say how great this place is. From the moment I walk in for my appointment to when I walk out, they attend you very well. What really got me was when I took my daughter who is eight to her first appointment here. My daughter can be very picky and stubborn when it comes to appointments. We changed our dental service to Oregon Family, and I was amazed of how gentle her dental hygienist was. My daughter had Heather attend her, and she went above and beyond my expectations for my daughter's first visit here, thoroughly explaining her next steps on what she was going to perform on my daughter's mouth, each tool's purpose, and just overall communicated dental care and healthy oral habits at her level. My daughter was very happy with Heather, and we can't wait to go back for her next dentist appointment! We love it here and definitely recommend them!

I have been going here for about a year now. They have been really understanding with my fear of dental work after so many awful dentists in my past. Tears don't instantly well up in my eyes anymore when I get a numbing shot. I am not immediately on edge any linger when entering a dentist office. And they didn't get offended when I opted not to see pictures of the dental work they had done on me. If you have had horrible dentist experiences in the past, I encourage you to give this office a try. They are all very gentle and kind. They also have someone come talk to you about preventative measures more than just mouthwash, brushing, and flossing. They gave me examples of tools I had never even heard of like a tongue scraper, a little handheld brush designed specifically to clean under the gum line, and little brushes that go between your teeth to massage your gums. In less than a year they said I had vastly improved with my oral hygiene and had far less plaque. This office focuses on actually helping you keep your teeth healthy and finding ways to improve your routine rather than just telling you to floss more.

I have been a patient with Dr. Park since he took over Dr. Clawsons practice on River Road many years ago then to 11th & Chambers location and finally the Quest practice and haven't ever been disappointed by him or the office staff because of the professionalism and cheerfulness of everyone who truly makes it a smooth experience! The staff at Oregon Dental are friendly, helpful and genuinely like doing their job. I find the staff always in a good mood which helps to make me feel comfortable. Dr Parks is professional, efficient, gentle and I appreciate the precautions he take to keep us safe during this Covid pandemic time. The new dental air purifier vacuum is AWESOME!! Wow I can not say enough after years and years of bad dentist office experiences my wife and I finally found a Dentist practice we love~! I can not over state how great Dr. Park and his entire staff is. Even the front office people are exceptionally kind caring and just plain nice people. We have two different Hygienist there and we both felt we got the best cleanings ever with them. They really take the time to educate you on how to take care of your teeth and gums. Dr. Park lets you decide on what care you are comfortable with. He tells you what he thinks you need in the most conservative of approaches and allows you to schedule the work as you can afford it. They do take our Delta Dental insurance and we found the pricing to be very reasonable for services rendered.. If you are looking for a total package bunch of great people then Oregon Family Dental has to be your go to Dentist . Great job ~! Kit and Suzette Jors

First off I feel that in the current pandemic Oregon Family Dental has done a great job making me feel safe and keeps the office very clean. The office has a nice waiting room though for when the pandemic ends and it gets used but my visits have been waiting outside in the parking lot and calling to let them know I have shown up for my appointment. The examination area is nice and comfortable with well maintained equipment and the prices have been really reasonable. I also like that they have been attentive to asking if I am doing ok or if I feel any pain. While I won't say I look forward to going to the dentist as who does but at least I can say I like Oregon Family Dental.

I am very impressed with the gentle and pain-free care I get with Dr. Park. I love how Dr. Park explains what he is going to do, and during the procedure, he always asks if I am doing alright. I have never felt pain from Dr. Park because he is very gentle! Also, Allie and Heather, the dental assistants, are very attentive and excellent, always concerned that I am doing alright.

Everyone at Oregon Family Dental is so friendly and efficient. My entire experience from walking in the door and communicating with the office staff to getting my teeth cleaned or getting a filling is always so seamless and pleasant. They even have cute animal videos to watch in the chair

Being new to the area and State , I was referred to Dr.John Park by a person in the medical field that I had met on an excursion. What I ever fortunate to have met this person! Dr Park is one of the most thorough dentists that I have ever had. My first visit consisted of an in-depth exam complete with x-rays ( I had my records sent to Dr. Park from my previous excellent dentist.). He was extremely thorough and explained everything that was being done. The next day I had a dental cleaning ( I was again lucky to have a last minute appointment due to a cancellation!) .The hygienist was also very thorough and professional and explained everything in depth and then some. I never had such a comprehensive exam or cleaning. I was sent home with a bevy of dental tools for great oral care. I highly recommend Dr. Parks and his staff: very professional, personable and caring.

I've had a few dentists in the last 5 years, and Dr. John Park has been the most thorough and welcoming. My work has looked great, and the whole staff is proficient with technique that gives minimal pain.
