Dr. Sung Yeon Ji, DDS (DR. SUNG), received her DDS from New York University College of Dentistry in 2013. She has been working as a general dentist in private practices. Dr. Sung believes in building long term relationships with her patients in a gentle and comfortable environment. She is innovative, proactive and comprehensive in her approach to dental care for her patients. Patient centered care is always the priority and you are always in control when it comes to your dental treatments. Dr. Sung will take the time you need to understand all aspects of your dental care.
Dr. Ji values building long term relationships with her patients and providing quality dentistry in a gentle, comfortable environment. She became interested in dentistry in her teens, she loves her profession more and more everyday.
Dr. Jung Hun Ji (DR. JI) graduated from Loma Linda University with Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2014. He started practicing general dentistry in Reno, Nevada, after graduating dental school. After working in Reno for few years, he decided to move back to Oregon where his family is. He has been practicing in the area as an associate before he started this private practice. In his spare time, Dr. Ji enjoys hiking and watching movies and snowboarding.
Dr. Ji regularly pursues continuing education courses in Oral surgery, Endodontics, Periodontics, Dental implants and more to stay on the cutting edge. Dr. Ji is a proud member of American dental association, Oregon Dental Association and Clackamas County Dental Society. Drs. Jis family moved to Oregon from South Korea in their teens. Both Dr. Sung and Dr. Ji grew up in Eugene, Oregon and graduated from University of Oregon, both are huge Oregon Ducks fans.

Best Dentist in town. If you have dental trauma or fear going to the dentist, the compassionate team here is amazing. I feel they make our dental health their priority and I absolutely appreciate that about them. It's a big family and they are so so welcoming.

Moved from Southern California and this office is just up the street from me. Just had my appointment early this morning and met with Ashley, one of the hygienists as well as Dr. Sung. I know I'll need a bit of work done after just coming out of braces late last year but not too bad. Each of them did a great job explaining their findings and presented other recommendations which I definitely plan to do as I was previously a dental assistant. Both Ashley and Dr. Sung did acknowledge my circumstances regarding me being in braces as well which of course because of that I as well as my previous dentist and hygienist weren't able to thoroughly clean or examine as well. Thank you guys for constructively and professionally explaining everything to me and making me feel at ease. See you guys again soon!

I've been a dental hygienist for many years and I love working at this place. The staff is wonderful and Dr. Ji and Dr. Sung are so gentle and always treat patients with kindness and respect. I bring my family here because they are great with kids! I will be here for many years to come!

What a great experience! Everyone from the receptionist to the doctors are so kind. Ashley and Dr.Ji both did an amazing job explaining things and answering questions for me! Ashley also made me feel comfortable every step of the way-such a big difference from past experiences at the dentist. I can honestly say I'm excited to go back to the dentist!

The best experience I have ever had, no insurance they make everything so easy to understand and just the best place ever. I had insure and this is still cheaper, no judgment they treat you amazing the ladies that I had took out my tooth and they were just amazing. No one wants to go to a dentist no one is happy when they leave but this was an amazing experience for me and totally different from my past dentists. Masks are required but I didnt have a problem at all.

Oregon City Smiles is a great dental office. Everyone is so friendly, the Doctors and hygienist are friendly thorough and kind. They take the health of their patients very seriously. I would recommend them very highly. They listen to the patients make a plan and give you estimated cost printout before any work begins to make sure the patients are comfortable with the plan. If you try them you won't be disappointed.

I've been going here for over a year now with a fair amount of dental work- a handful of fillings, a crown, gum cleaning, etc. They have been consistently kind, communicative, gentle, informative, and have given a great quality of service. Highly recommend

I find the front desk staff very helpful and very welcoming and pleasant. Diane, my hygienist explains her care in detail and genuinely wants to help you succeed in better home care of your teeth. She gave me some tips to help. She treats you like an adult, (I'm over 65 ), unlike some hygienists I have had in the past. Dr. Ji is knowledgeable and explains her treatment plan before moving forward. She is friendly and warm. I am very happy with the care I receive from all of them. Great dental office all around!

Went in today for cleaning. The waiting area was organized for social distancing. The staff took every measure for safe interaction with me, and as usual,the results of my procedure were appreciated! The dental hygienist is excellant and the dentist's are very informative and diligent in communicating with patients!! Their dental procedures are beyound reproach! The receptionists are super friendly and efficient! I highly recommend for all your dental needs.
