My husband, Dr. Andrew M. Orchin, and I packed up the UHAUL and hit the road with our adorable little boys (I know Im biased), Evan and Alec, just as COVID-19 closed our beloved DC practice, Orchin Orthodontics. It was a planned move, but COVID bumped the date up a bit!
My family of newbie Minnesotans and I LOVE to be outside, and we enjoyed spending the summer in our new Stillwater home swimming and fishing and boating and eating smores and of course, swatting those pesky mosquitos! Alec, our youngest, also enjoyed catching his fair share of cutie pie froggies and Evan went through an entire set of wheels on his dune racer. I cant explain how happy I am to be raising them in this beautiful area and am so happy to call Stillwater our forever home.
Originally from Prior Lake, I grew up boating on the St. Croix and Mississippi river and fell in love with Stillwater and the surrounding river valley. I also love that just across the river are my fellow Green Bay Packer fans! (Sorry Vikings fans its in my blood; my uncle used to play for them!)
Orthodontics came to me as a perfect landing spot for me to turn my lemons into lemonade! I have always been nit-picky and to say Im detail-oriented is an understatement. These personality traits are why I will LOVE to help you smile your best smile.
Im passionate about creating more than straight teeth. I look for facial balance and function as well - teeth have to match the person or you lose optimal esthetics. I know what looks good and will marry that keen esthetic eye with my strong academic background and decades of experience along with my backpack full of creativity to get you what you want! I am also by nature a fixer; I want to help. to a fault. So, tell me what you think your issues are and lets work together to get it right for you!
When I look back at my over 20 years of experience, I think maybe my biggest strengths are being a really good listener and an exceptional communicator. I understand there is a real person or a real family I am helping, and that we all have different goals and circumstances. You do you! Lets work together to figure it out.
My time spent practicing all areas of general dentistry, along with my experience in comprehensive orthodontic treatments, including orthognathic surgeries and cleft lip and palate treatments, allow me to provide a well-rounded perspective to my orthodontic patients.
Ive been honored in my nine years of practicing orthodontics at Orchin Orthodontics in Washington, DC, to be voted Top Orthodontist every year by my dental colleagues and named the Face of Invisalign by the Washingtonian magazine.
Continuing education is an important part of providing the best care possible. I was a member of the Schulman Group, an invitation-only group of the country's top orthodontic practices and I ran a Spear Study Club to provide continuing education to my dental colleagues.
Ironically, Im very musical and grew up playing in a popular rock band in Washington, DC. I just cant sing. I am, however, all about the harmony and balance of your face and teeth. That translates to the care and detail I like to provide my patients.
I was born and raised on the East Coast, where I followed in my fathers footsteps and became an orthodontist. My dad and I had a great time practicing together for seven years. Im fortunate to have learned from one of the best.
A passion for orthodontics runs in my family, and Im excited to bring that passion to the St. Croix River Valley. Orthodontics is a team sportwe need to work together to achieve our goals. I will always listen to your thoughts and concerns.
I'm not just treating your teeth. Yes, I want you to have straight teeth and a beautiful smile, plus a healthy bite, a functioning jaw, and open airways. But, I also value the relationship formed throughout treatment.
I loved practicing and teaching for so many years in my hometown of Washington, DC. I'm proud to be a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics for the past 15 years. This is a distinction very few orthodontists hold.
We take special pride in being long-time members of the Schulman Group, an invitation-only group of the country's top orthodontic practices. We're thankful for learning from the residents as much as we taught them as faculty at the Washington Hospital Center.

My daughter just started Invisalign but we have loved everything about our experience so far. Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly staff. Gorgeous office. Very happy with our choice.

My son didn't complain about it and he hasn't complained about it once! We were in and out of there in less than 40 minutes. Everyone there was very professional and definitely knows what they're doing. He had the top and bottom done and so far so good!

The care that my son has received at Orchin+Orchin has been amazing! We consulted a few clinics in the area, as my son is a more complex case needing braces twice, jaw surgery, etc. We really wanted to find a team that not only deeply cared about their patients but were also outstanding at what they do. Orchin+Orchin has been just that. They treat my son with such care and respect, giving him ample time to ask questions and really be involved in his care and treatment options. This is especially great, given my child is on the autism spectrum and has lots of questions and wants to fully know what is going on with his care. I can't thank Dr. Jill, Buffie and the whole team enough for the impeccable attention to detail and family friendly environment! We are so happy to get our orthodontic care at Orchin+Orchin!

Great experience! I took two of my girls in for an initial consult. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Orchin explained all options very well to myself and my girls. I was looking for a provider that not only straightens the teeth but takes airway into consideration as well and Dr. Orchin really looks at the big picture when treating patients. As a parent I am very happy to have my girls in treatment at Orchin & Orchin and as a dental professional myself I am comforted knowing I have a wonderful place to collaborate with and refer my patients to.

We started our orthodontics journey by visiting 3 other offices, with 3 consultations and many other phone calls (some unanswered). Dr Jill Orchin had commented in a local facebook group for moms about her office and I'm so glad she did! During our consultation, we knew we needed to look no further. We'd found the ortho unicorn! A. The staff is incredibly friendly and stayed on the phone past closing time to answer my questions when I made the appt. B. We've got 2 kids going at the same and I feel like the quality of care they were offering at the price point was actually feeling like a "good... great deal" on braces. (Yes, I know, but after hearing such a range of prices/care plans... it's true) C. The office is super easy to get to and very nice. D. I've got a kid who required some extra tweaky things and Dr Jill didn't even bat an eye or make a big deal of it. I'm a nerd and asked 1000 questions and there was a logical answer to every one. E. No waiting. Your appt time is your appt time. F. We pretty much decided on the spot that we would be going with Orchin. And they were ready to get us started that day! G. Since then, we've also met the dad half of the Orchins and that dude is just as cool and super skilled. H. I've been able to text about an issue that arises and been able to get in within the hour- or less- to address it. I. My kids feel so comfortable there and wear/sport the Orchin swag with pride. J. Buffie. K. What other orthos were offering as the "only way" was very unappealing. With Orchin, all options were on the table, because the skills/experience are what matter. Happy campers over here!

I love this office! Such fun and amazing staff and I have already noticed a big change with my teeth and it's only been 14 weeks so far! So excited to continue with my ortho treatment here!!!

My entire family and I enjoy going to Orchin + Orchin. We have fun with their amazing staff. Our daughter had amazing results in such a short time. They were also quick to provide a long-term plan for her. They have been wonderful to work with me through the Invisalign process. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful and welcoming place. I brought my daughter here and the assistants and receptionists were so friendly. Dr Orchin was very thorough and and had a calming way about her that worked really well for my daughter who is a bit nervous when it comes to dental work. After treatment planning they were incredibly accommodating when it came to scheduling and deciding a financial plan for us. I would recommend any family and friends to go here. : )

My boyfriend and Went into Orchin and Orchin for a consult on Invisalign. We both had Ortho work previously but never wore our retainers . From the moment we walked in, it was an awesome experience with the front office staff to the back. Everyone was highly professional and friendly . Check in was easy with the receptionist, she was kind and welcoming. Hannah got us back right away- we didn't even have time to sit down. The office is beautiful and clean with adorable decor. Dr Jill Orchin is extremely knowledgeable and sweet. She spent a good amount of time explaining our treatment without making us feel like she was rushed or just another patient. She was able to Identify a issue that my boyfriend has had for years and thoroughly explain what was going on after just 1 visit. You can tell she truly is passionate about the health of her patients and our care is her top priority . She doesn't want to just "straighten" our teeth she wants to improve the overall health of our mouths ! Hannah was our coordinator, she made the process quick and easy, without pushing us to do the treatment. She was also extremely knowledgeable and sweet . The assistants Scanned us with the latest technology in less than 5 minutes - no Yucky/messy impressions :) We are so excited to start treatment ! 10/10 recommend - you won't regret scheduling a appointment:) Thank you Orchin and Orchin , see y'all Soon <3

So happy I went to Orchin & Orchin! I had my initial consultation for Invisalign today. Their office and staff are so welcoming. They use the most up to date non-invasive equipment.. perfect for the younger kiddos. I can't wait to love my smile again!!

Awesome experience! I went to have a consult for Invisalign treatment done and I met the Mr Dr Orchin. He walked me through the current state of my teeth and explained why I wouldn't be a good candidate for treatment. Mr Dr Orchin was so honest in my assessment and put me first rather than starting me on a treatment plan to make a buck. In addition, they did the assessment for free. Their front desk staff and dental assistants are so nice (Buffy was great)! I would highly recommend this dental office to everyone. I'm sure my son will need braces and I plan to bring him back for an assessment when he's old enough.
