Dr. Kauls brings extremely high standards to her work. She puts her patients at ease with an approach that is caring, calm and compassionate. She is a member of the Faculty Study Club at Spear Education in Scottsdale, AZ. She is also a former restorative dentistry advisor to True North Study Club, Part of the Seattle Study Club network.
Off Duty: Dr. Kauls has served on several non-profit boards including Minnesota Dental Benefits and Childrens Home Society and Family Services. She was honored as a WCCO Hometown Hero for her work as founder of the Mike Stringer Endowment at Childrens Home Society. Dr. Kauls enjoys gardening, theater and all forms of music. She lives with her family in Stillwater, MN.
Anna Dierking, DDS, has deep ties to our local community. She grew in White Bear Lake and attended Eastridge High School in Woodbury. Her high level of professionalism is delivered with kindness and compassion. She perfectly represents the Orchard Dental approach! Dr. Anna welcomes patients of all ages.

The Orchard Dental patient support crew is as caring as they are professional. Through frequent and ongoing participation in professional training, the entire Orchard team is dedicated to raising their professional knowledge and bringing current dental industry best practices into our office. Plus, they lead busy lives right here in our local communities. Youll probably see them cheering along the sidelines of the youth ball fields, or riding on the bike paths.
Maureen received her B.S. in Dental Hygiene from the University of Minnesota and has been practicing since 1996. She lives in Forest Lake with her husband and sons. Maureen enjoys spending time with friends and family at her cabin and rooting on the Minnesota Vikings.
Shelly has been in the dental field for 28 years. She participating in hygiene study clubs to continue learning about the advancements in the dental world. She is married and lives in Mahtomedi with her husband. Shelly enjoys hiking, traveling, photography, and spending time with wonderful friends and family especially her grandkids!
Sheila has been a Registered Dental Assistant since 1998. She is married and has two children and a dog. A lifelong resident of White Bear Lake, Sheila enjoys gardening, antiques, arts and crafts, cooking and shopping. Her favorite holiday is Halloween.
Vicki is a 1978 graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dental Hygiene. Vicki has been married to her husband for 29 years and they have three wonderful, busy children and live in North Oaks. She enjoys bike riding, travelling, and gatherings with many old friends and colleagues.
Katie graduated from Century Colleges dental assisting program in the spring of 2008. Katie is newly married to her husband Dustin and together in their spare time they enjoy hosting parties with family and friends. Katie is also very involved in the sport of purebred dogs and attends dog shows nationwide.
Laurie graduated from Century Colleges Dental Assisting program in 1982. She lives in Oakdale and is married and has two daughters. She enjoys watching sports with her husband, biking, reading and traveling. Her favorite thing to do is getting together with family and friends.
Kari comes to us with 20 years of dental assisting experience. She grew up in International Falls, but now resides in Forest Lake. She has 2 children who are the light of her life! Kari enjoys horseback riding and visiting with friends & family up north. When you are with people you care about and enjoy, life is good!
Samantha graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dental Hygiene in 1997. She lives in Mounds View and has 5 nephews and 3 nieces. She enjoys reading, cooking, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Heidi comes to us with 4 years of dental experience and working with insurance. She lives in White Bear Township with her husband and two young children. Her family is big into hockey and are fans of the MN Wild. Heidi enjoys camping, hiking and any spare time just enjoying the outdoors.

Due to age, my front teeth have been chipping on a regular basis. Dr Kaul's suggested bonding of the four front teeth to strengthen them. She was simply masterful in her ability to color match my teeth and provide a beautiful and strong smile is amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Kauls.

I hate going to the dentist, however these ladies made it less stressful for me. Samantha is so good. The x-rays are the worst, Sam was so quick getting those out of the way. I met the new Dentist and she was so delightful. I would highly recommend Orchard Dental.

Wonderful, gentle, and respectful professional dental care! I don't normally like visiting the dentist, but Orchard Dental makes the process as quick and easy as possible! All employees are helpful and cheerful... and my hygienist, Vicki, is amazingly gifted and professional.

I am 81 years old and had not been to a dentist for 2.5 years - several reasons why. I was very surprised at how dental practice had changed since my last visit. As I told my wife, "We have stepped into the future!" My first exam was very thorough: o 2.5 hours. o digital tooth x-rays - 90% less radiation than regular x-ray. o X-rayed every tooth. o Teeth cleaning was done by water-powered device. o Photo of my 'smile' from multiple angles. o Referred me to oral surgeon for more serious options. I was very satisfied with their thorough service.

It was my first time in and it was absolutely amazing! My dental assistant, I believe her name was Andrea, and my dentist Anna walked me though every step of the way. Making sure that I was okay and understood everything that was happening. They both made me feel comfortable and condiment. 100% going back and recommending to everyone I know. I returned to Dr. Cauls after many years of not realizing she was practicing right near by. It was the best dental visit I have had since working with her in her earlier practice years ago. The atmosphere she has created with her team is respectful, welcoming, reassuring and spa like. I felt as if I was not just a number and that my dental care was as important to them as it is to me.

Quite possibly the greatest dental experience of my life. I had two old crowns replaced... a complicated and long procedure but it was handled with stunning expertise and compassion. Every step of the way things were explained. Both Dr Kauls and the dental assistant I think Casey (please correct me if wrong because I want her to be acknowledged)were beyond outstanding. What great role models for women in health care!

The assistants and dentist are very good. That is why use orchard as our dentists. I do have a suggestion for when you are running behind. I had a 10:30 appointment and did not get in until 10:52 I would appreciate being told that you are running behind and I could opt to come on a different date and time. If you are running 20 minutes behind at 10:30 in the morning, I cannot imagine how far behind you would be by the end of the day. If I would have opted out, the rest of the patients could have been seen on time or even earlier. Thanks

I've been a patient at Orchard dental for nine years. Sometimes it feels like I'm going to a spa rather than the dentist! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating, they always make me feel comfortable. Dr. Kauls is amazing, full stop.
