I graduated dental school at Georgetown University in Washington DC with a DDS degree in 1980 after attending UC Davis. I was certified by California State Board of Dental Examiners in October 1980. I then became a partner at Orchard Dental Group in 1981.
I have beena member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), and the Sacramento District Dental Society (SDDS) for 33 years. I am also a member of the Georgetown Admissions Committee, the Regional Dental Consultant United States Olympic Committee and a Spear Faculty Club Member (Spear Dental Education).
I was a founding member at the Granite Bay Golf Club and still enjoy playing a good round of golf with friends and family. I also enjoy several other outdoor adventures including camping, jet skiing, snowboarding and other motor sports.
My roots are here in northern California. I was born in Oakland and later moved to the Lincoln area in 1966. I went to Lincoln High school where I met my lovely wife, Charlene, in 1970. We have been together ever since and have been happily married since 1979. We have two daughters, Megan and Stephanie. They both live in Irvine, CA and are beginning their careers in education and medical sales respectively. They are the center of our lives and we try to see them often. Our dog, Bear, completes our little family, and wherever we go he usually travels with us.I feel very blessed to have this wonderful family and enjoy them immensely.
After graduating from UC Davis and UCSF Dental School I always knew I would return to this area. We live in Rocklin and still get together with some of our childhood friends that we have known for almost fifty years. We consider their friendships very special and love to get together and share a meal and some laughter whenever we can.
I have been with Orchard Dental Group since 1991. I have surrounded myself with very talented and caring ladies who have helped to make my career in dentistry both successful and enjoyable. Together, we strive to make our patients feel safe and well cared for. It is our hope to make all of our patients feel special and to do everything we can to make their dental visits enjoyable and fulfill their dental needs.
I grew up in San Bernadino, California and went to Loma Linda University Dental School where I graduated in 1984. Ihave owned dental practices in Victerville, Riverside and San Clemente California from 1984-1994.
I live in Granite Bay with my wife Dana, two children, CJ and Carly and dogs Cooper and Chester. I keep active outdoors hiking, biking, playing golf, skiing and am very involved with my kids school and sports.
I am a member of Spears Faculty Study Club which is an active learning center. This study club keeps me involved with all the latest trends, techniques,materials, and methods dentistry has to offer.I am also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA) and the Sacramento District Dental Association (SDDA).
