Dr. Vulugundam is committed to providing the highest quality of dental care to our patients. Before moving to the United States, she completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from SRM Dental College and Hospital in India in 2004. She practiced dentistry in India for six years before moving to the U.S. In 2015, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from New York University College of Dentistry in New York. For Dr. Vulugundam, learning is a continuous process, so she always stays up to date with continuing education. The doctor has also completed an extensive postgraduate courses in direct composite resin dentistry, indirect aesthetics and full-mouth aesthetic reconstruction at the Nash Institute of Dental Learning from 2017 to 2018. The doctor is Invisalign Certified and also completed Implant Continuum Implant Dentistry Education. Her husband, Krishna Thatavarthy, works at Citibank. Her son, Sathvik, goes to middle school, and her daughter, Shriya, goes to elementary school . In her free time, Dr. Vulugundam enjoys gardening, cooking and spending time with family. Wonderful experience at this office! I had an emergency situation and this dentist saw me on a Saturday. I had excessive bleeding due to an extraction and the doctor took great care and gave me exactly what I needed! She took the time to call me the next day on a Sunday to see how I was feeling. 10 star experience! Highly recommend

I'm so glad I found this doctor !! They're open on Saturdays which works best for my schedule! The staff is amazing! So caring !They really go through explaining your treatment plan and costs! I just recently had some extractions and had no swelling at all, was able to work and thankfully didn't have to miss any days ( I though I wasn't going to be able to talk on the phone). I am very pleased with their work and cannot wait to finish my treatment plan !! Definitely recommend this doctor 100%!!Very nice place and very polite...

I came in a HOT MESS after getting into an accident on a Friday night. Can't find any dentist open on a Saturday, except OGD!!!! Crying, panicking because my bottom two teeth got kicked in & I was in so much unbearable pain. I found Orange Grove Dental and it was a GREAT decision! Dr. Vulugundan and her assistants took such amazing care of me. :) They comforted me, made me smile even when I didn't want to, they made me feel really good about the situation. She gave me the best options I believe for my situation & always picked up the phone when I called. My smile looks BRAND NEW & I couldn't be happier with the results! :D

As a business owner myself, I have to admit the Orange Grove Dental in NPR, from start to finish of my extremely difficult broken tooth extraction my experience was amazing! From the knowledgeable informative staff, to the dental assistant and the doctor herself, just an incredible experience. They didn't skip a step, they diligently went through the whole process as careful and precise as possible! The tooth was successfully extracted and cleaned out, gel foam and sutured very effectively! The bleeding stopped after 30 minutes without any issues, I am not in extreme pain, and in fact I feel so much better, so much more relieved! #19 tooth I had a bad cavity that eventually chipped and then fragmented for the last 5 years, ive gone to multiple dentist through the years and had outrageous prices given to me, not only was the price fair, but so much lower than I was previous estimated! Thank you to everyone who helped me at Orange Grove Dental in NPR!

I came to orange grove dentistry and saw Dr Vulugundam I was experiencing the worst pain ever after having a tooth extraction at another awful dentist. I came to Dr. Vulugundam and she fixed me right up on a Saturday morning. I'm in no more pain from dry socket, I am forever grateful to the doctor and her kind staff. Thank you again!

I had to have an emergency visit yesterday. I ended up having two teeth extracted and bone graft done. Even though the extraction was not a very pleasing experience for me, I was happy by the time I went home took a nap and woke up and had no pain. Didn't even need the pain medicine she prescribed for me. Thank you guys! See you in two weeks!

Dr. V and her staff are absolutely wonderful. From setting up appointments via live chat and convenient online forms, the entire process was a breeze. Christina at the front was very welcoming. Dr. V was very patient and explained the treatment and why it is important. They have great financing options. Overall, had a great experience. They are open Saturdays too. Had to come here for an emergency extraction, Dr. Vulugundam (sorry if I spelled that wrong! ) Was very attentive, read my X-rays to me professionally and explained all the parts of the procedure. Staff was great and had an awesome sense of humor. Office is clean and very updated, has fresh paint and new tools and gadgets all over the place, I felt welcome and they did not shame me for the awful state of my tooth. Awesome place.

Everyone in that office is an angel I went in on a Saturday with a chipped tooth and an appointment for an exam, but the dental tech Mark I believe, held my hand, gave all the information and lobbied to have me patched up even though they were slammed. Best and only place I'll go for dental.

I fell and chipped my two front teeth on a Friday evening. It was very dramatic and I was extremely upset to say the least. I thought I would have to wait to see my dentist on Monday but when I searched I found Dr. V. I can't say good enough things about Dr. V and her associates! Not only were they accommodating to getting me in swiftly but they eased my concerns, wiped my tears, and gave me new teeth. I can now smile without feeling self conscious. Yes, it was traumatic falling and chipping my teeth but I'm so grateful for Dr. V and her wonderful, caring associates for wiping my tears and giving me the ability to smile again. I can't say enough good things about this dental office other than if you are looking for a new team to keep you smiling and your teeth healthy than you found the right spot! From the minute I called and spoke to Christine I knew I was in the right place!
