Dr. Sanaz Shahbandi, completed her bachelors degree in electrical engineering and then she received her doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, (one of the nations and worlds top-ranked school of dentistry), where she graduated with honors. During her time there, her focus was on perfecting biomimetic esthetic restorations, popularly known as natural and bio-compatible restorations. Her areas of expertise include clear braces, laser therapy, veneers, bonded aesthetic restorations, crowns, bridges, partial and complete dentures, root canal therapy, sleep apnea, and dental implants.
As a mother and small business owner, Dr. Sanaz knows that her patients lead busy lives. Even the most conscientious can fall behind on their oral care. As a dentist, Dr. Sanaz is there to help. She wants her patients to look forward to their visits and so she treats them as she herself wants to be treated. Her practice is founded on the principle of minimally invasive dentistry. She strives to provide a safe and comfortable environment where she partners with her patients to achieve their maximum well-being.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, California Dental Association, and the Orange County Dental Society with good standing.

Hands down the best dentist in the town. Dr Shahbandi and her team in OFDG are amazing . Not only she is so kind, friendly and professional, she is expert and very knowledgeable on what she does. Her strong academic background due to being a faculty at USC makes her provide the best treatment that is in line with the latest technology and dental evidence based dental care. I love how she explains all steps of treatment plan and answers all question with her kind and compassionate personality. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, experienced and honest dentist, she is the one. I highly highly recommend her to all my friends and family . Dr Shahbandi, you are so awesome .

The dental clinic is very clean. Dental assistant was very kind and accomodating with pleasant personality. The dentist was so gentle in providing dental care and thorough in giving patient education and great tips for routine oral hygiene. Highly recommended.

I cannot recommend Dr. Shahbandi enough! She is very knowledgeable, thorough, and gentle. The staff is fantastic, everyone is professional and caring. The best part is that I get seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time (I'm not a very patient person).

Dr Sanaz is honest, calm, thorough, trustworthy and truly cares about her work. The true epitome of a local business owner. The first time she worked on my teeth was while she was a student at USC many years ago. I immediately knew she would become a great dentist. She earned my trust immediately because of her competency and transparency. I saw another dentist after working with her and that dentist commented how perfect Dr Shah's crown work was. I realized driving down from LA to OC was worth the trip to have Dr Shah work on my teeth again. No tricks, no gimmicks! Just honest professional work done by the book. I glad I'll never have to find another dentist.
