Dr. Luis L. Labrada earned his Doctorate in Dentistry in 1998 at the Superior Institute of Medical Sciences in Camaguey, Cuba. Soon after, he started working as a General Dentist at the University Clinic for 3 years before being admitted to the National School of Public Health for his postgraduate education. His true passion for the dental profession allowed him to embark on an 11-month mission trip to The Andes Mountains in South America, where he provided dental care to underprivileged communities.
After relocating to the United States, Dr. Labrada mastered English, became an American Citizen, and successfully passed the Dental Boards. He was accepted to the prestigious Advanced Education in General Dentistry post-graduate program at the University of Florida (Go Gators!), where he received the most updated modern dental training of todays dentistry.
Dr. Labrada has called Florida home since 2008 and he is excited to put down roots in the community. He is married to his childhood sweetheart Beatriz and they are blessed with twins, Zoe and Ethan. The Labradas enjoy salsa dancing, traveling, and hosting celebrations with family and friends. His passion is using his skills and expertise to help patients achieve a beautiful, healthy smile.

I had a great experience at Orange City Modern Dentistry! The entire staff was extremely helpful and professional! Dr. Labrada was very thorough in explaining my treatment plan and addressed the concerns I had about my upcoming treatments. I highly recommend this office!

For years I had a hard time smiling because of my teeth this year I turned 50 and I just knew I couldn't continue in pain & ashamed of my teeth or taking pictures. Dr Labrada & his team are all Angel sent to this area to put smile back on EVERYONE's faces. I started coming here over a year ago. The office is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The doctor is super caring and charming. This office wont over charge you. If you are thinking of booking and appointment, do it and you won't regret it. I consistently have the most efficient cleanings and check-ups that I have ever had in my life here. 10/10 exceeded expectations.

Wow, is the best way to describe. From the first call, to walking in, to the service they privided. Every single interaction from every employee was great. Start to finish top to bottom. To be honest I was skeptical about a dentist that had all 5 star reviews out of 170. Now I see clear how tthis is possible. They are amazing!!!!

I've had some negative experiences and have bounced around from office to office. Today was my first visit. Beth was my hygienist and was nothing short of spectacular! She ensured I understood every part of the exam and cleaning. Cost is a big factor for me and she explained what was recommended, what my insurance was covering and what was optional so I could save some money. Dr Labrada was just as amazing as Beth. I feel comfortable under his care and am going to proceed with an in office procedure. HOWEVER, the staff member doing the check out/billing became rude when I asked for billing codes for the procedure previously mentioned so I could get a ballpark out of pocket cost from my insurance. She immediately gave me an attitude and told me because I declined to do a extra scan, that Dr Labrada wouldn't even do the procedure for me. I understood the scan was needed and previously discussed it with Beth and the doctor while in the room. Both Beth and Dr Labrada instructed me to speak with the checkout person, as she handled those inquiries. The woman didn't give me an opportunity to respond and sarcastically stayed, "So have a good day." and ended our interaction. Encounters such as this was part of the reason I bounced around from different offices. I'm hoping she was just having a bad day, as the experience I had with Beth and Dr Labrada superceded hers.

Being new to the area, it's always a chore to find new medica providers. From my first phone call inquiring if they took my insurance, I had a good feeling about this office. They even got me in very quickly. Walking in I was struck by how nice the place was. And clean. And a friendly staff. Everyone I dealt with was great. Even Dr. Labrada was exceptionally welcoming. He took the time to go over details and options with me. I scheduled an appt for 3 weeks out, waiting on pre auth from insurance. By the time I got home they had gotten the authorization to proceed and my appt was bumped up. So far so good. Glad I made the choice to use Orange City Modern Dentistry.
