Hello! My name is Dr. Lauren H. Lee, but my patients simply call me, Dr. Lauren. Thank you for taking the time to read about me and our philosophy here at Orange Beach Family Dentistry. I want you to know that my mission is to make your experience the best it can possibly be. Whether you comein for a simple cleaning or needmajor restorative work, rest assured that our goal is to make every patient interaction a positive one.

Our entire teamis dedicated to providing caring and compassionate dental care. We always strive to put your needs first and ensure that you are comfortable and well-informed. Whenever possible, we work to conserve your existing teeth and related structures for as long as possible.

I work closely with my patients to develop comprehensive and sustainable treatment plans that take your overall health and long-term goals into consideration. As a young child, I saw how my father, a radiologist, worked to help educate his patients and make them feel comfortable. The example he set for me is one I continually work towards and is the basis from which of all the care I provide extends.

Dr. Lauren grew up in Dothan, Alabama. She has wonderful memories of her annual family vacations to the Alabama Coast, which laid the foundation for opening her dental office in Orange Beach, Alabama.

Dr. Lauren attended Barnard College of Columbia University right in the heart of New York City, where she received her bachelor of arts in Biology with a minor in Dance. Although moving from small town Alabama to Manhattan was a big transition, she is grateful for the variety of experiences she had there.

Dr. Lauren attended dental school at University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB), where she earned both the Alabama Dental Association Student Scholarship and the Third District Dental Society of Alabama Scholarship. One of her most memorable experiences in dental school was traveling on dental mission trip to Nicaragua.

After graduating from dental school, Dr. Lauren attended a 12-month Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the Foundry Dental Center in Bessemer, Alabama. During this residency, she learned advanced dental techniques with a focus on advanced oral surgery procedures.

Dr. Lauren is highly committed to staying up-to-date with new techniques and technologies. In order to provide her patients with the best care, she regularly attends numerous continuing education courses each year. She is an active member of theAlabama Dental Association, theAmerican Academy of Facial Esthetics, a Spear Study Club, and the Baldwin County Dental Study Club.

In her free time, Dr. Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking on the beautiful local beaches, working out, and traveling. She also is an active participant in theCoastal Alabama Business Chamberand thePleasure Island Junior Womens Club.

My career in Dental Administration started in 2002 in Pensacola, FL. I obtained my Dental Assistant Expanded Functions Certification and Dental Radiography Certification from the University of Florida in 2009. I started working for Orange Beach Family Dentistry in November of 2020, but I first worked with Dr. Lauren Lee several years ago at a Pensacola office, which is where my admiration for her started. I have been honored to be welcomed into the OBFD Team! Our patients are in good hands.

While having clinical knowledge of the dental field, I have a passion for understanding dental insurance and am often referred to as The Insurance Lady. I enjoy helping patients understand their clinical needs and how their insurance coverage may be helpful. I am also available to answer any account questions and help arrange financing for services or cost not covered by insurance.

I began my dental career in 1994 as a dental assistant and acquired a dental hygiene license in 1999 through the University of Alabama at Birmingham Dental Hygiene Program. During the spring of 2019, my family and I relocated from Birmingham to Baldwin county to experience life at the beach. I enjoy exploring the outdoors, shooting photography, and relaxing on the beach with my family and friends.

I became a dental assistant in 1996 and completed the Dental Hygiene Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2007. I am originally from Pennsylvania and moved to Foley, AL, in 2001. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time with my family.

Amanda has always had a passion for dentistry, she has been in dentistry since 2013 but joined our team in 2021. After receiving her associates she attended Alabamas Dental Hygiene program at UAB. Amanda loves being a hygienist and helping patients to feel more comfortable while in the office. She continues to feed her curiosity about dentistry and keeps up with cutting edge dental technology and trends by reading industry newsletters, and learning from other medical professionals in conversation.

Amanda is a native to the area, she is married to a marine and is a proud mother of two beautiful children, Ryan and Louie and is dedicated to her family life. When not working, she enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, boating and volunteering .

I graduated in 2006 with my degree in Applied Science and Dental Assisting, and have worked in the dental field ever since. I value all the relationships I make with my patients, and enjoy making their dental experience as stress-free as possible.

My husband, Andrew, and I are both Baldwin County natives. We love watching our two boys, Landen and Collin, participate in motocross events. When not motocrossing, we enjoy doing anything outside or on the water with our boys and our family dog, Remington.

Prior to moving to Alabama in 2020, I worked at an Orthodontist office. I value my time with patients, and try to make their experience at the dentist as best as it can be. I am originally from North Carolina, but can definitely see myself calling Alabama home. I am building a life with my Coastie and enjoy traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with my family, and our Goldendoodle Nash!

Outside of the office, you can find Victoria on the water with friends, enjoying the outdoors or listening to a local band. They both also enjoy traveling during their free time and spending time with family.
