We have been providing care to the Missoula area for over 40 years. The practice offers the full scope of Oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise in areas ranging from routine tooth removal, including wisdom tooth removal, to corrective jaw surgery. Areas of expertise include the diagnosis and treatment of oral pathology (infections, cysts, and tumors of the facial bones and soft tissues). We also diagnose and treat facial bone fractures for injuries of the soft tissues. A particular area of expertise treated by our doctors regards dental implant placement and prepare for implant surgery.

Dr. Gama has Diplomate status in the American Board of OMS, and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, as well as numerous state and local professional societies. Dr. Gama provides in-office services, and is on staff at St. Patrick Hospital and Community Medical Center.

Dr. Morris is a member of multiple dental and oral surgical societies; American Dental Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology, and Who's Who World Wide, as well as numerous state and local professional societies Dr. Morris performs in office surgeries, and is also on staff at St. Patrick Hospital and Community Medical Center.

The surgical staff is highly trained in all oral and maxillofacial procedures, and have a combined experience of over 30 years. Our surgical staff are highly motivated in the delivery of optimal surgical care, and the associated administration of IV sedation, and are ACLS and CPR certified. Furthermore, we offer the most up to date surgical equipment in our state of the art surgical operatory rooms to allow our doctors to offer the best surgical care possible.

He was born and raised in California, having lived in both Southern California (San Diego) and in Northern California (Redding). After beginning his undergraduate education at Shasta Community College in Redding, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly).

During his undergraduate years at Shasta College and Cal Poly, he competed in Track and Field and Cross Country, and still holds the 5000-meter track and field record at Shasta College. He then attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1995, graduating near the top of his class.

Dr. Gama then completed a one-year General Practice Residency in dentistry at Denver General Hospital, before being selected into the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He completed his four year Oral Surgery residency in 2001, and subsequently sat for and passed the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) board examination. Upon graduation, Dr. Gama moved to Missoula and joined Oral Surgical Associates.

Outside of his professional work, Dr. Gama enjoys family time with his children Allison and Anthony. He enjoys living here in Missoula, and all the activities Missoula has to offer; hunting, fishing, backpacking, and Montana Grizzly football. One of Dr. Gama's biggest passions outside of work and family which involves competing in triathlons, in which he races regularly and quite competitively. He has qualified for and competed in the World Championships at the half-iron distance in his age group for 5 consecutive years.
