Dr. Miner is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon practicing in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. His advanced surgical training encompasses dental implant placement, bone grafting, dental extractions, oral pathology, facial trauma surgery, and reconstructive facial surgery. In addition, Dr. Miner has undergone extensive training in intravenous sedation and general anesthesia. His goal is to provide each patient with the best surgical treatment in a relaxed and comfortable environment.
Born and raised in Tucson, AZ, Dr. Miner moved to Denver in 1999 to attend the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, where he received his doctor of dental surgery degree in 2003. He then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI. Dr. Miners interest in oral and maxillofacial surgery peaked, leading him to Boston, MA where he completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery training, and anesthesia training at Boston University and Boston Medical Center in 2008.
He prides himself on practicing at the forefront of his specialty and believes all patients deserve only the utmost respect and attention. His goal is to treat every patient as he would treat his own family, providing the highest standard of professional care.
Dr. Miner also finds reward and gratification through teaching others. During his time at Marquette University and Boston University, he devoted countless hours to lecturing and providing clinical instruction to dental students and other Oral Surgeon colleagues.
Dr. Miner and his spouse, Dr. Anita Hoelscher, love their lives in Highlands Ranch. Dr. Miner continually strives to achieve the perfect balance between his professional career while also soaking in every life experience with his 3 daughters. Outside the office he enjoys exercising outdoors, running, hiking and skiing. He also has a passion for gardening, succulents (Arizona roots), rocks, gems, minerals, cars, cooking etc. etc., the list goes on (but dont get him started talking about all this stuff!)

Dr. Weideman was born on the West Coast in Long Beach, California. He grew up in Ohio and Florida before attending Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. During his four years at Cornell he played mens soccer and was a member of the 1995 Ivy League championship team before graduating with Honors in 1997. After taking a year off to work and enjoy the ski slopes of Colorado, he returned to the East Coast to attend the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. While at Penn he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (National Dental Honor Society) and graduated in 2002, receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. After dental school, Dr. Weideman left Philadelphia for the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he completed his Medical Degree in 2006 and his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency in 2008. During his tenure at the University of Michigan, he also obtained a certificate in Microvascular Surgery and completed two years of General Surgery training.
After spending over six years in private practice oral surgery in the Denver area, Dr. Weideman officially partnered with Dr. Miner in 2015. He is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who conveniently serves South Denver, including Castle Pines, Castle Rock, Centennial, Cherry Creek, Greenwood Village, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Lone Tree, and Parker. Dr. Weideman is fully trained in dentoalveolar surgery (dental extractions, bone grafting), dental implant placement, intravenous sedation, oral pathology, facial trauma, orthognathic and reconstructive facial surgery. Dr. Weideman is a firm believer in the value and power of education both for himself and his patients. He regularly attends seminars, national meetings, and oral surgery symposiums to provide the most current and advanced treatment available for his patients. Dr. Weideman enjoys spending time educating his patients about the how and why of their diagnosis and treatment. He believes that this directly translates to improved patient confidence and understanding, thereby resulting in decreased patient anxiety. Dr. Weidemans goal is to provide the highest standard of patient care, and aims to treat every patient as if they were members of his own family. Dr. Weideman and his wife currently live in South Denver with their two sons. In their free time they can be seen running to soccer, basketball, and baseball practice, or heading up to the mountains for some fresh powder. Their biggest pleasures in life are enjoying a great meal with family and close friends, hanging out with their two Great Pyrenees dogs, and traveling around the world.

Great service, however I learned after that they are very high priced. I had to pay close to 1100 out of pocket for wisdom teeth removal despite having great dental insurance (blue cross blue shield federal employee program). I feel my out of pocket costs should have been minimal, and would have been reduced had I gone to a place that wasn't referred by my dentist. Service was excellent, however. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

The experience I had with Oral Surgery of the Rockies was, about as good as it can get in my situation. The staff is highly recommended for any oral surgery. Definitely make sure you bring family or a close friend to take care of you for sedation appointments.

I had my long-dreaded appointment for a difficult extraction Monday, and was careful to have nothing on my calendar through Friday. I arrived early and was greeted by a lovely receptionist who was very welcoming and we finished a bit of paperwork. Soon a couple of Dr. Meyer's assistants escorted me into the procedure room where he soon came in. He is such a kind, understanding sort of guy and the three of them soon had me knowing I had nothing to dread. Dr. Meyer explained what to expect during the procedure, and he continued to explain anything unusual as he proceeded. He was finished in about 20 minutes, and I was ashamed I had dreaded this day for so long. As I was escorted out I was given a thoughtful gift that I didn't even look at until I was settled in at home. Surprisingly it contained anything I might need that first afternoon at home...several soft snacks, Gatorade, lip gloss, gauze, and written instructions that covered anything that might come up the first day or so of healing. Dr. Jeremy Miner had been recommended to me by my daughter (extraction) and granddaughter (four wisdom teeth removed) who were very pleased with their recent appointments. I won't hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone who might be in need of their services. By the way, I was able to resume my schedule for the rest of the week on day two! Feeling great!

For several months I was stressed about this tooth extraction. A canine tooth with a failing, 25 year old, root canal. From the minute I walked into Dr. Miners office, met his supporting, very friendly and very professional staff, I knew I was at the right place. Dr. Miner did an outstanding, very skilled and excellent extraction. I had very little pain following the extraction. I'm impressed with his professional skill, compassion and competence. I recommend his practice highly.

Friendly and amazing staff! Dr. Miner was so kind, extremely professional, very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience. He treated me as if I were family and continues to go above and beyond to make sure my care is top notch. I am so thankful for him and his staff they made my fears and anxiety minimal and I would definitely recommend their practice to anyone. I live in Colorado Springs and to drive an hour each way to feel as confident and less stress is so very worth it! They are an "ELITE" type of care that is so often hard to find. Thank you do very much Dr. Miner and your wonderful support team you really are amazing!

This was my second implant at The Oral Surgery of the Rockies. Both experiences were remarkable! From the moment I walked into the office to the time I left, the office and support staff were friendly and professional. Dr. Miner made me feel comfortable while discussing the procedure with me. Both implants were pain free during and after the procedure. Hopefully, I will not need other implants, but if I do, I will not hesitate going back to The Oral Surgery of the Rockies.
