Never made it past the phone call. Rudeness chuckling at my situation. It's not about helping anymore. No alternatives offered.

Went in for a scary multiple extractions ordeal and Dr Cornella and his assistant made it pleasurable and easy. I kept my mouth open longer for a spanking i used to get. Great office will suggest.

Had a great experience. The Doc was able to fix the previous dentists mistake and pull two more teeth with no issues at all with little to no pain at all.

Very courteous and professional. Very caring and made me feel very at ease under the circumstances. They even called later in the day to see how I was doing.

We wont go back! Pianful and horrifying! Frank A. Cornella, DDS, MD removed 2 of my dad's teeth. He went back because there was a bone sticking out. We thought maybe it was a piece of the tooth coming up to the gum. Which we know from previous experience is pretty common. My dad asked to be numbed Connella did not numb him with anything, he just yanked it out and then said it wasn't the tooth but a piece of jaw bone. My dad was in tears and has a high pain tolerance! Please beware!

I arrived for a consult on 32 year old implants with one failing. Waiting room and staff were very pleasant and helpful. Doctor and his medical staff were kind, very well trained. Although my appointment was a noon emergency visit for a consult, they went the extra mile to resolve my dental problem.

Had a very good first experience! From the receptionist to the dental assistants, everyone was super sweet and professional. The dental assistant was very friendly and helped be more at ease. The doctor was also professional, had a good sense of humor, and everything went well. I'm waiting to have my surgery later and feel much more confident about it. Recommend!

Veterans BEWARE !! My appointment with Dr. Cornella was supposed to be March 25th for my lengthy surgery. After receiving the WORST possible care from Trish and Jennifer who are both part of his office staff, I canceled the appointment. If you are a Veteran, DO NOT go to this doctor!! I was made to wait for 5 weeks for my surgery after my first appointment. Jennifer at the front office refused to work with my work schedule. I had an implant that was failing and causing me a tremendous amount of pain. The cap on the implant began to twist completely around which was even more painful. I called the office to see if the doc could help me and after being treated like I had a disease by Jennifer I then asked to speak to the doctor himself, who by the way is also an MD!! She refused to let me speak with him. That same evening the cap came completely out leaving a hole in my mouth that would have to be there and prone to infection for the next five weeks! I attempted another phone call to which I was told again, sorry and NO you cannot speak to the doctor about it. My first surgery was scheduled for Feb 25, 2022. I received a call on Monday, Feb 21, inquiring how we felt about driving in the forecasted snow. We drive 120+ miles one way, but we were prepared to make the journey after waiting for 5 weeks!! Trish informed me that no one was willing to risk their lives just for us. Needless to say, I was ok with that until she stated my next appointment would have to wait another 5 weeks !! When I asked to leave a message to speak with our doctor Trish screamed and said, "no no no you cannot talk with the doctor". Not one time did we ever hear anyone at that office apologize for my pain or the wait "I" would have to endure until my next appointment. I could not remain on the call because my time to go to work was upon me, so my husband took over the call. Now let me comment here, my husband is the most laid-back guy I have ever known; after 20 years of marriage, I still cannot get a rise out of him. Within 30 seconds of him speaking with Trish, she began screaming at him at the top of her lungs accusing him of wanting to "leave her children motherless" just to be there for our appointment!! It was either wait the 5 additional weeks or nothing !! Absurd behavior from a human being. I then called the VA Administration and spoke with the person in charge to express my husband's and my reservations about going to this surgery now. What kind of care could I possibly receive after being screamed at. They agreed and not only canceled my appointment but assured me NO OTHER VETERAN will be sent to this office. I did not serve my country to be screamed at by the office staff and violation of my rights to speak with my own doctor !!! This Dr. Cornella, DDS, MD needs to own up to the way his ENTIRE staff treats others, but I have my doubts that he has ever bothered to read any reviews about his practice. I hope this review helps everyone, NOT just Veterans! We are all important and do not deserve to be treated as nasty as these folks are. Let's NOT give them any more patients to abuse, please. My wife went for sedation to get teeth pulled as she has dentophobia. They were more then understanding of her needs. She was well taken care of and they were amazing about following up to make sure she was ok. Will definitely be seeing them again next time we need a dentist! Thank you Dr. Cornella!

I had a very dear friend visit this establishment. She was greeted with rudeness by the staffs and the Dr was even worse!! I recommend that NOONe visit this place of business. They would rather make a person feel bad about themselves as opposed to helping them WITH THEIR TEETH which is why my friend was theee to begin with. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU at Oral Surgery of Springfield!!!

I normally do not leave many reviews. I understand everyone has an issue from time to time, but I felt I must provide some important information for future visitors. 1. If you are looking for a clean, organized facility that makes you feel comfortable, this is not the place for you. 2. If you do not like being treated like you have a disease, this place is not for you. 3. If you want a doctor with good bedside manners, this is not the place for you. 4. If you want a doctor that cares about your concerns and genuinely cares, not your place. 5. If you like professionalism and being treated like a valued customer, this is definitely not the place for you. 6. If the VA tries to send you here, please refuse! Can they get the job done, yes! BUT...if any of the above things are important to you, please reconsider. We were able to be seen at our normal dentist the next day and get the explanation for my husband's pain and a plan for future treatment (he was 6 days post-op). Our nurse was kind and understanding but the doctor knew my husband was in a lot of pain and was not gentle at all. I honestly think he overbooks himself to the point he is running from room to room then back to a room. He had to keep asking the same questions over and over again. My hope in leaving this review is the doctor changes the way he runs his business before something worse happens. Wanting to make a lot of money should not come at the cost of the quality of patient care.

I did not get a chance to meet with this doctor, but his staff is the worst. First, I had some work scheduled to do, and I wanted to change the appointment to a consult, before the work, to vet that I like the doctor (I've recently moved to Springfield). The secretary gave me a difficult time about this, but ultimately said okay. I arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment, and the office still has a mask mandate, even though the city has lifted it. To be clear, this is TOTALLY okay with me. I have no problem with wearing a mask at all, but because the mask mandate has been lifted I didn't have one with me. The secretary asked me, in poor manner, if she could help me and if I had a mask. I said that I did not. She said I would have to buy one for $1 cash. AGAIN I AM NOT AN ANTI-MASKER - BUT I don't normally carry cash on me, and when she asked if I had a dollar, I said I did not. She said I'd need a mask for the doctor to see me... At this point I just walked out and here's why: 1. Maybe I should have known to bring a mask to a hospital environment. But I honestly didn't think about it. Any hospital, UCLA, COX, MERCY, is going to provide a free mask (again I don't carry cash on me) Which leads me to the reason I personally decided to ditch this dentist. 2. Dentists and oral surgeons make a very decent living. If this guy is going to charge his customers $1 per mask, all he cares about is making a buck. He doesn't care about the health of his patients. And that is a major flaw in a dentist. I personally make a decent enough living where I'm not living paycheck to paycheck. I just think about maybe a younger single mother who is living paycheck to paycheck and having a big dental expense coming up, and then getting salt in wound with $1 mask. I'd give them 0 stars if I could. Very unimpressed with this establishment. I will not be going back.

I read the reviews and decided to go with this oral surgeon not for personality or communication, but for his medical expertise. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Dr. Cornella was, too. Medically. I had two extractions. I was sedated. I have had zero issues. I opted to take the pain medication before bed but discovered I did not need it. There is no inflammation at the extraction site, no tenderness and feels as if it is already healing. I was seen just yesterday. If any further oral surgery is needed, I will definitely return to Dr. Cornella. FOLLOW UP: Almost 1 week later and zero issues. The area was never tender or sensitive. It is healing incredibly.

First time, office staff was so nice, helpful and professional. Back office and assistant's were fantastic as was Dr. Cornella. I highly recommend them, I had to have my back molar pulled, didn't even realize it was out and he was done. Talk about an easy experience!!

Dr Cornella took care of me well today. I needed to have all 4 wisdom teeth out. I get so much anxiety when it comes to dental anything. His team allowed my husband to come into the room until the anesthesia kicked in to help comfort me. So far, I've been pretty lucky to have mild pain. Thank you Dr Cornella, & your team!

My mother had a horrible experience at this office. The staff is rude and short tempered. The surgeon's bedside manner was equally terrible.
